问题 regarding english dubs on DVD

Other than being able to watch it on your sexy HD TV screen, are there any benefits to buying english dubbed 日本动漫 on DVD?

I'm asking this because Funimation is FINALLY planning on releasing the english dub of Rosario + Vampire (both seasons I and II) this December, and I'm thinking about getting it for Christmas.
