Is the 日本动漫 "Samurai Champloo" good for twelve-year-olds?

I was planning on watching that 日本动漫 with my twelve-year-old friend but I don't know. I heard that it has the same feel as Cowboy Bebop (which I didn't think it was too bad for a twelve-year-old) and I heard that it drops some f-bombs. So is it O.K. for a twelve-year-old 或者 no?
