Do 你 Think, after 你 reach a certain age you're SUPPOSED to stop watching anime? If so, what age is considered too old to watch anime?

I think what some people don't realize is that 日本动漫 is not just for kids, but there is all kinds of 日本动漫 for all ages. It's probably because in the Western world we're used to thinking that 动画片 are for kids and/or suitable for the whole family, because that's what most 动画片 are here. There are expections though, but still some people think shows like Family Guy are child-friendly... which I would not say is true, because I find the humor of that 显示 offensive, but I digress. Anyway, thinking that all 日本动漫 is suitable for children could be even a harmful supposition, for even outright violent and/or pornographic 日本动漫 exists out there, and people wouldn't want their kids to watch it, now would they?

Nothing,I KNOW for a fact there is no age to watching anime,anime is for people of ALL ages,not just children,here's what I say,If 你 like something (no matter what age 你 are!),It shouldn't matter what people say to 你 about,It's what 你 like! People can't stop watching that certain 显示 或者 日本动漫 in general,just because a few snobs,say 日本动漫 is for children! If 你 like it,who cares what anyone says 或者 thinks!^^

What? What crazy person is making fun of those who watch 日本动漫 in their thirties? You're never too old for anime! That's why they make kiddy 日本动漫 like Tokyo Mew Mew,Sonic X and others ^^ And they also make mature 或者 teenage animes like Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni,kai and Rei,Death Note, Elfen Lied 或者 many 更多 ^^ Same with 动画片 ^^ yes it can be childish to watch 动画片 but it's your life. So don't listen to those ignorant people and watch 日本动漫 till 你 drop! ^^ lol

my 老友记 are saying i have to stop watching it cuz they it is 4 children under 6, that is so not true and they say that 日本动漫 is stupid, man, i really hate them they cant have their mouth shut. that makes me so mad

hmmm, lets see, it really all depends on your self-esteem and your interest in anime, ages have nothing to do with when your gonna stop because 日本动漫 is meant for many different ages. Most people lose interest in 日本动漫 when they have to run a family because its a distraction.

I got into 日本动漫 when I was 30 and I'm almost 39 now and still going strong. I also still watch American cartoons, like Scooby-Doo 或者 Disney's animated features. I don't get why because something's drawn instead of filmed that that automatically makes it kiddie fodder.

Well, eventually 你 might lose your taste in what 你 liked as a kid. When 你 were younger, 你 might like sweets, but as an adult, 你 may not. So as 你 grow older, 你 may either still like anime, 或者 lose your taste in it. But I don't think after a certain age 你 don't have to stop watching anime.
