A factory farm is a large-scale industrial operation that houses thousands of 动物 raised for food—mainly chickens, turkeys, cows and pigs—and treats them with hormones and antibiotics to prevent disease and maximize their growth and 食物 output. These 动物 lead short, painful lives and often produce 食物 that is lower in quality than those 动物 raised in healthy environments.

1. Be a good neighbor! Please don’t allow your pets to have access to your neighbors’ yards and trash cans. If your dog is an incessant barker and/or howls and whines while 你 are away, 你 may want to work with an animal behaviorist 或者 dog trainer to solve the problem. Should your neighbors have concerns, try to address them in a positive, constructive manner to avoid serious conflicts.
