I sorta have weird feelings toward Fred/Gunn... I liked them a lot when I first watched the series, but then I became a HUGE Fresley fan, and now when I watch them I'm more 'eh'. Now when I watch, I find them cute in season 3 (even though my heart, my gut, and everything in me is aching for Wesley), but season 4, their relationship just sorta dies, and my love for them with it. I agree with what Katie says below- Gunn might've been good for her when she came back from living in Pylea, but Wesley is the one for her.
And not to mention, SO NOT FAIR that Wesley and Fred have, what, half an episode together?! *glares at Joss*

I really liked the Fred and Gunn relationship, but it was so sad how Wesley and her were only together for a day.

Fred and Wes were totally obvious and it still makes me sad that they didn't get more time together!

Gunn without a doubt, he brought out the best in her and
vice-versa. Gunn had an unconditional love for her. In the end he was still the only one to offer his life to save hers.

They were ment to be together :)

No contest. I never liked Gunn and Fred together. Gunn just got in the way of what was meant to be.

Wesley was the one who got in the way, he broke up a great thing, but he's always doing that.

I understand and appericate the Gunn/Fred pairing (just as I do Bangel and Briley) but to me I felt like Gunn was what Fred needed to find herself again but Wesley was her match.

Definitely agree with Arabella. Gunn would have been a great boyfriend. He was very demonstrative and giving, but Fred and Wesley were kindred spirits.

I loved Fresley, I really really did. But Gunn/Fred were as good during their time. In the end Wesley won over. He came to her when needed.

I like both pairings, but Fred and Wesley had more in common. Fred/Gunn was really just a red herring pairing when everyone was already expecting Fred/Wesley.
