I first listened to his melodious voice while studying abroad. I´m from Panama. Even though I don't speak arabic I could feel the emotions transmitted 由 his voice. I had to ask my arab 老友记 for a translation of the songs. Ever since then, Amr Diab has been my 最喜爱的 arab singer.
Now with the Internet advantage, I have been able to find and listen to 更多 of his songs, and of course to see his face. Very handsome 由 the way.
I trully believe that 音乐 joins and goes beyond problems and differences. His 音乐 is an example of this, it transports 你 to a different place and time.
It´s rithm , instruments,and his wonderful voice makes listening to it memorable.
I have listened to other arab singers, who have very good voices and styles, but he still excels, in my humble opinion.
