How is a Raven like a 写作 Desk?

I found this answer in the back of the book. They are both bleak and only make one note.

For me, it's that they both have feathers. A raven has feathers and a 写作 台, 办公桌 had a feather quill pen for writing. I don't know the real answer.

Sometimes, the best riddles are the most confounding. This one, from Alice in Wonderland, was presented to Alice during her 茶 party with The Mad Hatter, the Dormouse and The March Hare. When challenged for the answer, though, he too pleads ignorance.

"Have 你 guessed the riddle yet?" the Hatter said, turning to Alice again.
"No, I give it up," Alice replied. "What's the answer?"
"I haven't the slightest idea," 说 the Hatter.

That wasn't good enough for many readers, though those who questioned the riddle's answer always irked 作者 Lewis Carroll (so much so that he addressed it in a preface to a later edition of the book). Undeterred, people have come up with their own answers, like "Because Edgar Allen Poe wrote on both" 或者 "Because the both come with inky quills."

I heard it was because neither were made of cheese

Technically, the riddle has no answer, according to Carroll.
But the best fanmade answer I know is that "They both have inky black quills."

The best answer I've found is that they both carry notes. Makes sense- 你 write notes on a 写作 desk, and a raven will sing notes.

I've heard this one 说 before and agree with it: Because Edgar Allen Poe wrote on both

According to Carroll, the riddle "as originally invented" had "no answer at all," but he offered the following one anyway: "Because it can produce a few notes, tho they are very flat; and it is nevar put with the wrong end in front."

Hint: Nevar
"It is raven put with the wrong end in front."
