LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Adam Lambert 迷失 his temper with a photographer on a Miami beach, but on Friday denied wrestling him to the ground.The former "American Idol" runner-up was accused in a police 报道 filed 由 the paparazzo of trying to grab his backpack and camera in the tussle on the 海滩 on Thursday, celebrity news websites reported.

But Lambert, 28, 说 in a Twitter message that no punches were thrown. "Battery? Nope. I attempted to grab a camera, no punches were thrown and no one was on the ground...It was literally harmless. If embarrassment is a crime -- that's all I'm guilty of," the singer said.

Miami officials must now decide whether to press charges against Lambert. The photographer did not 报道 any injuries.

Lambert, a glam rock performer who 迷失 the "American Idol" 标题 in 2009 to rival Kris Allen, attracted further attention when he announced he was gay. He went on to release an album and establish a promising career.
