After a few weeks pass, you've been getting much sicker. 你 can feel it and 你 can see it. Whenever 你 look in the mirror, 你 see a pale face, small dark circles, and white lips. Your rosy cheeks have turned to paleness and nothing but paleness. You've been feeling much weaker and you've been sucking at 篮球 lately. Your coach notices and he talks with 你 about it.

Coach: So Jamie. How is it?
Jamie: ...you should know coach...I'm losing it.
Coach: What can 你 do Jamie? 你 need to rest. 你 can't play.
Jamie: What? But...but I 爱情 playing. I can't just stop.
Coach: Then at least 你 can take 更多 breaks off than the rest of the team.
Jamie: ...even though it's not fair, I have to agree. I can't keep up anymore. I'm too slow.

In the middle of the night again, 你 wake up feeling a sharp twisting pain in your stomach. 你 twitch and 你 quickly yet gently 移动 Randy's hands off your waist. 你 leave the 长椅, 沙发 and 你 run to the bathroom and 你 head to the toilet. 你 just start throwing up and throwing up into the toilet, closing your eyes but feeling the acidic burn in your throat. When your done throwing up, 你 look and 你 see blood in the toilet.

**next morning**

Coach: Sullivan!! Get your behind over here!!

You try to get up but 你 can't. 你 just fall right back down to your knees and the assistant coach goes to you, Tommy.

Tommy: What's wrong Jamie?
Jamie: I feel dizzy.

Sitting at the pew in church that afternoon, Jamie Sullivan, the daughter of Reverend Sullivan, reached for her Bible, opened it and began to turn the pages, her hazel eyes scanning the words and phrases that she had picked out at 随意 and mentally began studying.

Finally, her eyes lit up with some sparkle when she came to the book of Psalms. She then began to read Psalm 1 up to verse 4.

For some reason that only she knew, Jamie felt that she had to read those verses. She knew that they were very important – both the words and the phrases.

Landon and Jamie was on the poach swinging on their swing. Jamie looked at the sunset. Landon put his arm around her shoulder. Landon and Jamie kissed then the night began to fall.
