Here at Sugarscape we love the 5SOSFam for many reasons: they\'re dedicated, damn punk rock and - like us - will never be able to watch Titanic again without spontaneously sniggering at various points throughout. Oh, and obviously they\'re one of the most charitable fandoms around rn, too. Exhibit A? The Beside You fan project, which aims to raise some important dollar for childhood cancer charities.

Yup - to celebrate Ashton\'s 22nd and Luke\'s 20th birthdays this year Twitter user @MeaagSieglinde aka Meagan Berneaud\'s started up a project that aims to raise money for charities focused on finding a cure for childhood cancer and we couldn\'t be more on board.

The Beside You project will raise money (they\'re already at $225) for both the Eden Dora Trust, Trekstock and American Childhood Cancer Organization; three amazing charities working with children diagnosed with cancer.

If you head over to their Crowdrise page it\'s all explained over there, but basically: "This year, for Ashton\'s 22nd birthday and Luke\'s 20th birthday, The #SLFL Cincinnati fam has decided to set up a fundraiser to donate to Childhood cancer. When you donate,  your donation will be given to the Eden Dora Trust, American Childhood Cancer Organization, and Trekstock, three amazing organizations who are searching for the cure for Childhood cancer. 

"Please visit both their website to know what they are all about. 5SOS has done so much for us, and this is us giving back in a more extroadinary way. You do not need to be attending this show to donate to the campaign. This is a open worldwide campaign to raise funds for Childhood Cancer awareness and research organizations.​"
