Mainly because I hated him so much and wanted him to be the mole, now I can't believe I ever hated him. I'm so glad he was NOT the mole!

The newest person I introduced to 24, thought after the first episode it was either the main character Jack (Bauer) or the short black hair lady (Nina Myers) and that she didn't really like Kim or trusted 'Alan York'. I just laughed (to myself) and wished I could tell her I look forward to hearing her opinions at Ep. 12 and Ep. 22 (before both moles were revealed).

They set him up so perfectly because he's the anti-authority Jack. Nina was always supportive of him which is why nobody genuinely suspected her. The first instance of things aren't always as they seem.

Exactly! I hated him SO much and somehow he ends up as my #2 now, it's weird to think back on how much I hated him back then and only slightly liked him when he and Nina got Jamey. The first instances that all wasn't as it appears was: Mandy first of all, I did not see that coming! 'Alan York' and then Jamey, but Nina and her killing Teri totally takes the cake, so many shockers in S1, it was awesome!
