'Doctor Strange' Director Weighs In On 'Logan' — Could This Be The Best X-Men Movie Yet?

I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Doctor Strange Director Says Logan Could Be 'The Best X-Men Movie' — moviepilot.com
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
My name is Darragh. Enjoy reading what I think about movies.
Logan may just be the savior we all needed to revive one of comic-book lovers\' favorite franchises. 20th Century Fox recently had a presentation showcasing some of their upcoming movies to a select number of people, and Logan happened to be one of these movies people got to see. The hype for Hugh Jackman\'s last outing has since reached a whole new level, as the reviews are overwhelmingly positive.
#Logan is set in a world where X-Men comics exist.
Just watched 40 mins of Logan at Fox press preview and X-23 is my new Eleven
First act of #Logan is tremendous. Plus, I\'ve now heard Professor X say "fuck" or some variation of it at least five times.
Among those who saw the preview and loved it was Doctor Strange\'s director, Scott Derrickson, who heaped some serious praise upon the film. He went on Twitter to let people know just how good it was, anticipating that Logan could just be "the best X-Men movie."
Just saw the first 40 minutes of James Mangold\'s LOGAN and it\'s fucking fantastic. Now expecting this to be the best X-Men movie.
This is absolutely huge — Scott Derrickson directed the fantastic Doctor Strange, and his opinion is one that comic book lovers undoubtedly trust. One aspect of the film that\'s got fans particularly excited is the fact that the movie\'s going to be R-rated (finally) and Scott Derrickson\'s love for Logan makes this all the better. Derrickson has a long and rich history with gruesome movies, directing horror flicks like Sinister, The Exorcism of Emily Rose and Deliver Us From Evil. If Derrickson is happy with the film, we can trust that 20th Century Fox adding an R-Rating to this movie wasn\'t just a gimmick to capitalize of Deadpool\'s success. Brace yourselves, guys: Logan may truly be a gritty, gruesome ride.
This is the second time this week where there has been communication between the two sides of Marvel, after Chris Pratt (Guardians of The Galaxy) asked Jennifer Lawrence (X-Men: Apocalypse), "How does it feel being in Marvel\'s stupidest movie?". Chris\'s comment was, of course, all fun and games, but it does tap into a real belief that the X-Men movies are inferior to the MCU\'s box office-smashing offerings. However, Chris Pratt might have to eat his own words next year when Guardians of The Galaxy 2 comes up against Logan for the best #superhero movie of 2017!
From the easter eggs in Doctor Strange to the Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer, the way in which the MCU honors the comics is praised by fans, and pays off in a big way. It seems that 20th Century Fox must be taking a leaf out of Marvel\'s master playbook and applying the same technique to Logan. Reports so far suggest that out of all the X-Men movies, Logan feels the most like the comics. The R-Rating will allow the filmmakers to adhere much more closely to the source material, and is sure to be a hit with fans — especially when you consider that Hugh Jackman apparently took a pay-cut to make this movie R-Rated!

I have to applaud Scott Derrickson; it\'s fantastic to see this sort of respect between directors, especially between two #Marvel directors on either side of the Fox/Marvel divide.
Logan has continue to rise steadily since that explosive first trailer, and it\'s shaping up to be one of the most anticipated movies of 2017! Its release date is not too far away, as it\'s slated to come out February 24th — not long now until we get to see if Derrickson was right about Logan being the best X-Men film to date.
