okay sooo this chapter is very long... I don't think the others will be quite this long but I wanted to get the descriptions of the characters out of the way, enjoy and comment!
The first thing I was aware of was the smell of a fire, I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply, inhaling my new 最喜爱的 smell. I was dancing, I could feel the cool grains of sand between my toes and could tell that the sun had long since sunk below the horizon. My 老友记 and I were 唱歌 loudly to a fast paced song our feet pounding madly against the sand.
I didn’t pay attention to any of these things though I just waited for what I knew was coming 下一个 and became almost giddy with excitement. Then I felt it, the feeling of eyes bearing into the back of my head, the most beautiful eyes I had ever seen. I turned on my heel and found what I was looking for, the two bright green orbs staring back at me. My 心 flipped and my breath caught in my chest. I caught a hint of a smile on his lips and I’m pretty sure my stomach did a backflip. My 心 was flying, pounding like the hooves of a racehorse. Then he was gone.

Great. Yup, that was my first thought of the school year. I rolled over and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes which proved 更多 challenging than it should have, it sticking to the corners of my eyes. I decided it was a good idea to give up when I poked myself in the eye twice efficiently blinding myself for a couple seconds. I was suddenly aware of the noise that had brought me out of my peaceful sleep, probably the last of those for months. Beep...Beep...Beep I stretched my hand out and unplugged the alarm clock not bothering to find the off button. I rolled onto my back and savored the quiet of the house. But unfortunately it didn’t last longer than a few short seconds,
“Zoe! Get up! It’s almost time for school!” my grandmother shrieked from the other side of my door.
“Zoe! Don’t make me come in there!” she threatened.
Finally, she threw open the door and a cold breeze drifted into the room and I pulled the covers up to my chin in a poor attempt at staying warm. She marched across the room and threw open the long white curtains letting in the sunlight her little brown dog Bella scurrying along behind her in a feeble attempt at keeping up with my grandmothers dutiful stride, she was on a mission and was determined to win one way 或者 another. The bright sunlight streaming in through my window burned my eyes and I threw my 枕头 over my head, I wasn’t going down without a fight. But I knew what was coming next; I felt Bella land on the 床, 床上 with a soft thud and my grandmother said,
“Wake her up!” Bella jumped on me digging through the blankets until she found a hole then; she burrowed into the covers and started scratching my legs and licking my hands. I pushed her away but it was no use eventually she pushed my 枕头 off my head and bit my nose. I jumped out of 床, 床上 my feet landing on the cold floor.
Grandma grinned triumphantly and marched off to the 下一个 room where Jasmines alarm had just gone off Bella following at her heels. I threw on a 运动衫 lying at the foot of my 床, 床上 and trudged out of my room and down the hall to the stairs. Then I heard a very tired 茉莉, 茉莉花 yell,
“Bella! Get. Off. Me!” and I smiled knowing I wasn’t the only one to lose my chances of sleeping in to an elderly woman and her fluffy brown poodle.
“Ow! That’s my nose! Fine! I’ll get up! Ugh!” and 茉莉, 茉莉花 walked out of her room with very 魔发奇缘 hair and red nose, my grandma followed and her and Bella started knocking on Seraphine’s door ready to repeat the process.
茉莉, 茉莉花 and I slowly made our way down the stairs and to the kitchen. Just outside the door we were greeted 由 the heavenly aroma of 蓝莓 薄煎饼, 煎饼 and cinnamon rolls. My stomach growled begging me to rush through the door and pile my plate high with the delicious 薄煎饼, 煎饼 drenched with 枫, 枫树 syrup. 茉莉, 茉莉花 and I raced to the plates and practically started wrestling over the 枫, 枫树 syrup. Finally, we sat down at the 表 and broke into a fit of giggles until we were interrupted 由 Seraphine and Marissa fighting over the plate of cinnamon rolls. A couple 秒 later I heard Anila flying down the stairs bringing in a cool breeze with her. She grabbed a plate of 薄煎饼, 煎饼 and sat down with us at the table.
These where my best 老友记 in the world Jasmine, Seraphine, Marissa, and Anila. We all usually stay at my house which, 由 the way is pretty big. 8 bedrooms, 6 ½ bathrooms a huge kitchen, 2 living rooms, and a basement with a bar and a room to work out in (kind of like a mini gym). The size of the house made it stick out in the small 海滩 front community. I looked around the 表 at each of my friends.
茉莉, 茉莉花 is the creative and fun one, and is amazing with plants and animals. She has deep green eyes and light brown hair with natural honey highlights. Seraphine is the fiery one, she gets in a lot of fights with others but it’s usually because she’s way overprotective of her 老友记 but she doesn’t take crap from others about herself either, her personality definatly shows through her appearance, she has fiery red hair and 金牌 eyes she’s the biggest of the group but not 由 much she’s still a little below average size but she’s built like a brick, small but strong. Marissa is the swimmer she loves water, (which is why we always make her 淋浴 last) and sometimes I’m pretty sure she can talk to fish, she has blonde hair and light blue eyes she’s the 秒 smallest just a little taller than Anila. Anila is about the size of a pixie and is so fast sometimes it looks like she’s flying she has short jet black hair and blue eyes that look like they have tiny flecks of silver in them. I had long dark brown hair that’s almost black and electric blue eyes I’m taller than Marissa but shorter than 茉莉, 茉莉花 so just short enough that I still have to climb onto the counter to reach the 最佳, 返回页首 shelves of the cupboards like a little kid.
When we were all finished eating we finally started talking, we all opened our mouth at the same time but before anyone could form a word I blurted out,
” Happy Birthday Jasmine!” which was followed 由 a chorus of Happy Birthday’s from the other girls.
“Finally” 茉莉, 茉莉花 sighed “I though 你 all forgot! 或者 maybe I had the 日期 wrong!”
We all started laughing when she 说 that. After breakfast we all headed to our rooms and started getting ready for school about an 小时 later we all met at the door.
茉莉, 茉莉花 had crimped her hair and wore a new flowy green 最佳, 返回页首 (which was the perfect color for her eyes) a pair of dark jeans and a pair of brown flats. Marissa curled her hair and wore a 水鸭, 蓝绿色, 深青色 blue V-neck with bright 粉, 粉色 花 on it and a bright 粉, 粉色 tank 最佳, 返回页首 under it she had paired it with a light pair of shinny jeans with a few thin holes running down the leg and a new pair of boots to pull it all together . Seraphine wore dark boot cut jeans a pair of bright multi-colored Osiris shoes, and a purple 衬衫 with a picture of 凯蒂猫 on it that said- I can’t hear you! Anila was wearing a plaid blue, yellow, and 粉, 粉色 button down 衬衫 which she had tied off to the side with a bright blue tank under it she also wore dark jeans and a pair of “potato shoes”. I wore a flowy off the shoulder yellow striped 衬衫 that 说 “yes way “on the front and “no way” on the back paired with dark wash flare jeans and black heels.
Every outfit was so different but one look at each of our right wrists would explain how close we are. We all had a thick black bracelet that had five stars blue stars on it and some weird black and white gem we could never figure out what it was, the only difference is that each girl had a different colored 圈, 圈子 with a symbol on it, 茉莉, 茉莉花 had a green 圈, 圈子 with a vine in it, Serphine had a red 圈, 圈子 with a flame in it, Marissa a blue 圈, 圈子 with waves and Anila had a grey 圈, 圈子 with a picture of swirling winds inside of it. Mine was the only one that was different the 圈, 圈子 on mine had two 颜色 black and white but it contained no picture which we all thought was weird. These bracelets are how we ended up being best friends. When we met each other we didn’t like each other much actually, we didn’t like each other at all. I looked at the other girls and knew they were thinking the same thing;
“Alright class! Get into your 阅读 groups!” Mrs. Trombley said, in that sugary sweet voice 你 would expect from a kindergarten teacher, “I want all of 你 to talk about the short story for this week and go over spelling words!” she 说 to the class. I grabbed my three best friends, Mandy Kaitlin and Paige and we scrambled to the corner and plopped down on the 豆 bag chairs our 图书 in our hands. We all giggled and talked about silly little things not even close to the topic we were supposed to be discussing.
Just as we finally pulled out our 图书 to start reviewing Mrs. Trombley walked up to our group and pulled me off to the side,
“I want 你 to go work with the group I have set up in the hall” she 说 as she handed me a thicker book and pointed me to the door. I took a few hesitant steps towards the door before looking back, and Mrs. Trombley smiled and nodded her head encouraging me to 移动 forward. I looked at the bracelet on my wrist and pushed my chin up and walked towards the door with renewed confidence.
When I walked through the door I saw two girls from my class sitting on opposite sides of a 圈, 圈子 made up of five chairs arguing about something. I walked closer and saw it was 茉莉, 茉莉花 and Seraphine. Two of the girls I disliked the most out of the class, the only thing that could make things worse was if the remaining two chairs where for Marissa and Anila the other two I disliked in the class. As I approached I figured out what they were arguing about,
“Um no. 你 copied Me!” 茉莉, 茉莉花 shrieked nearing hysterics. Seraphine leaned 前锋, 期待 in her chair,
“No! 你 copied Me!!” she yelled her eyes seeming to glow, 茉莉, 茉莉花 clenched her jaw and leaned 前锋, 期待 so that their noses where almost touching.
“NO! YOU. COPIED. ME!!!” she 说 once more. That’s when they finally noticed I was there. I noticed what they were arguing about bot girls had a thick black bracelet with 5 blue stars and a colored dot on it around her wrist, exactly like mine.
They both leaned back in their chairs and groaned,
” Not 你 too!” in almost perfect harmony. I sat down on the chair between them and covered my wrist with my hand we all sat like that for 分钟 just glaring at each other waiting for one to crack in tension thick enough to cut with a knife. Then the door opened and we all turned to see who it was hoping it was one of our friends. But of course not. Out walked Marissa and Anila and all of our eyes darted to the black bracelets on their wrists, and we all started talking at once,
“You too!”
No 你 are the copy-cat!”
“I got my bracelet first!”
“No I had mine the longest!” eventually I had enough,
“QUIET!” I yelled and five pairs of eyes fell on me
“Let’s just do our assignment and we can talk about this later.” We all sat back on our chairs and started to read.
Later that 日 as our class was lining up to go to lunch 茉莉, 茉莉花 lined up behind me,
“We’re all gonna sit together at lunch to talk about the bracelets.” Nd then she turned on her heel and stomped away not waiting for an answer.
When I got my 食物 I stopped and looked around the lunch room, eventually I spotted the group of girls sitting in the back of the room not saying a word to each other. I walked back and found a 座位 between Marissa and Jasmine. As soon as I sat down 茉莉, 茉莉花 spoke,
”Okay, who’s gonna admit that they copied me?” immediately after our 表 broke into a chorus of yelling,
“Are 你 kidding me?!”
“Really?”
“We didn’t copy you”
“Why would I copy you?”
“Wow.” Eventually a Ms. Flinn walked up to our table,
“Girls is there a problem here?” we all fell silent until Marissa spoke up,
“Nope, no problem here!” she squeaked. Ms. Flinn raised her eyebrows and said,
“I would hope not” and walked away.
As soon as she turned around 茉莉, 茉莉花 opened her mouth but Anila cut her off,
“ How about we all tell where we got our bracelets and how long we’ve had them?” and we all nodded. 茉莉, 茉莉花 spoke first,
” I’ve had mine longer than I can remember, I think my dad gave it to me before he went missing.” She suddenly had an intense interest with her fingernails and began to pick at them. Then to break the silence Seraphine spoke,
“I’ve had mine since I was born, I think my parents gave me mine to before they left.” Immediately after Anila spoke,
” I’ve had mine since I was born too, I’m pretty sure my mom gave it to me before she left me with my ‘stepmonster’.”
“Oh my gosh, I’ve had mine since I was born too! My parents gave it to me, but they’re never around they’re usually out of the country, but I have no idea why.” Marissa said.Everyone turned and looked at me, I took a deep breath in,
“I’ve had mine since I was born to, but both of my parents are dead, I’ve lived with my grandma since I was 3.” We all looked at each other and put our right hand on the table.

Jasmine opened up the door and a cool wind swept through my hair, “Let’s go guys we don’t wanna be late!” she 说 and stepped outside.

Mason met Olivia at his 最喜爱的 restaurant. It was a perfect 日 for a 晚餐 date. The sun was shinny, the clouds were extra white, and the 草 seemed greener then ever. If only she knew that this was a 晚餐 date. He signed the last autograph for today as Olivia sat across from him at their round table. Her hair was curly and in a ponytail. Then she wore a red dress with a thick, black 带, 皮带 in the middle. His 秒 impression of her was still the same, gorgeous. This 日期 was going pretty well but Cassidy dresses better. Chapter Four

Olivia was extra busy today. Today was the first 日 of the movie shoot for Hourglass. Before they could even start recording the movie, the would have to check up on everything. The wardrobe had to perfect. The scenes had to be accurately planned out. Then they had to make sure that all of the camera crew was positioned. Olivia wouldn't be able to receive the permits until tomorrow. So they couldn't start filming until then. She followed closely behind Mason as he did the daily check up.

Mason went straight towards wardrobe and the outfit choices. The outfit for Charlotte's arrival...

Remembering is just an invention of the mind,
So 你 need not try to remember something,
你 remember it automatically.
Which is the best thing that 你 could have.

The good times that we had...
It is placed in a portion of your mind.
The bad times that we had...
It is placed in the other part of your mind.

你 try to forget all of the bad things that happened,
But it is not possible.
It is stuck in you.
The bad things are painted in ink on your heart.

The good things, 你 try to remember.
And they stay.
They never go.
Never leave you.

Remembering is just an invention of the mind.
And, well...I guess I'm happy for that.
So I can remember every friend I've had,
Every boyfriend,
And all the good times.
Every memory will never leave my heart.
They will never be forsaken.
Never.

Different in ways they couldn't control
Killed for reasons we do not know
Ranging from ages young to old
The innocent people were taken from homes
Soulless people did not care
That the Jewish were in despair
Concentration camps ending their screams
Breaking apart their families
Not once did they do anything wrong
They opened their mouths and sang a sad song
Years went 由 and 更多 pain came
Until on one very special day
As one we all saved
The survivors of the Holocaust
Stan, the young donkey, was wandering sadly around the barn. He seemed hopeless and wounded and had no desire to speak to any of his fellow donkeys; even talking to his father was not appealing to him that exact moment. In fact, he was feeling ashamed of having a donkey father. He was ashamed of being a donkey altogether.
As the moon and stars scattered across the dark, blue sky, Stan decided he no longer to wander. He needed some solution, he needed reassurance, and only his grandfather seemed appropriate for that particular job.
Grandpa Roger was sleeping peacefully in the barn. He had become...

Bane’s POV

I laid in the grass, watching the clouds. I was beginning to dose off, right before sleep took me, a body pounced on me. I groaned, and looked up. A shaggy haired boy was sitting on my chest, giggling. My best friend, Christian.
“Get off!” I yelled rolling over. He slid off me.
“Party pooper,” Christian stuck his tongue out at me. He was so childlike, but that was something I had always loved about him. That’s also why we got along so well. He was hyperactive and loud, while I was cynical and quite.

Jason Card sat at his 台, 办公桌 in his science classroom bored out of his mind. He hated science. It was his least 最喜爱的 subject. Mainly because it was the last subject of the 日 and 由 that time Jason was usually ready to go home.
Mr. Form droned on and on about chemicals 或者 something. Jason didn’t listen. He just sat at his 台, 办公桌 and drew on some paper. He was a very good drawer.
Jason Card was a fourteen 年 old as of yesterday. His black messy hair never gave in to a brush which usually meant it was mangled and messy and went down to his ears. He was wearing a simple red t-shirt...

How to Add Emotion to a Story

1.    Understand 密码 或者 Key Phrases. Key Phrases are phrases in a story that triggers the waterworks. They are sentences that make people cry. Such as, a pet dies. 你 could write, "Goodbye, Old friend." A Key Phrase could also be an action. Such as, there are two pets. One pet dies. The other pet tries to sleep with the other one 由 cuddling up to the dead body.

2.    Add a lot of relationship between the one who dies and another character, whether that is a human 或者 an animal.

3.    Add comedy to the...

*Sigh* Okay, this is the first piece of 写作 I will ever share with anyone. Rarely does the idea of a poem ever enter my dark mind. But tonight, just two 分钟 ago, this one came to me, and I had to...write...it...down...

I’m aching here
I’m bleeding there

Pain strikes within
My every move

And there’s
Nothing
I Can
Do
To Make It
Stop

The tears roll down my face
And freeze there quickly
And stay until the time comes
Where they are no longer frozen
And begin to stream down again

My hurt was bottled up
But someone broke the bottle
And now it’s
Everywhere
And there’s nothing
I Can
Do
To Heal Myself

嘿 guys! I just wrote this poem. I haven't written a poem in quite a while, maybe a year, and this one's an attempt to get back on the poem 写作 path. Well hope 你 like it, and please, if possible, add a 评论 saying what 你 think.

Me and Those

Ever noticed that in this life
Everyone wants 你 to do something,
或者 be something
That sometimes 你 don’t want to be?

They are those!
你 know them!
你 probably have those in your house.
They are those who expect 你 to take a path,
Even though,
Sometimes,
你 don’t want to take.

They are those who expect 你 to be great,
Even though,
Sometimes,
你 prefer to be small and humble.

But do 你 think,
For the slightest second,
That they care about that?
They don’t!

They are your parents,
Your grandparents,
Your Uncles and aunts,
That since 你 were born,
Came up with a path for 你 in life.

But know this,
And say it to yourself:
They are those, they matter,
But me is I,
And I’m the main character.

I glance at the clock in the waiting room. It's past midnight. Wow. Jamie and Ashleigh are asleep on a small green couch, with a receiving blanket draped over them. I pick them both up, since Kayla and I are free to leave, and we all walk outside to my car. "You look great in black, white, and blue," she muttered. I saved that for future reference; she obviously knew what she was doing. Plus I'd been told that each of those colours looked nice on me before.
