A/N: I've gotten a few 标题 suggestions, but for now I'm just gonna keep it to Stay and Run. And this chapter has a lot of unnecessary details and unrelated dialogue, the first few chapters will, I just wanted to get the general idea of the girls' life.
Prologue: link

1: An Average 日 in Spencer’s Life

Spencer sat at her desk. Tomorrow was her twenty-second birthday. The first of the girls’ birthdays with 星, 星级 missing. Spencer had been sad ever since she disappeared. 星, 星级 was one of her best friends. And after losing three when they were recruits, she couldn’t take it.

There was a lot about that place that they didn’t know. They never figured out the name, so they just called it GAA for Government Assassin Agency. Not creative, but better than nothing. They also never found out why the seven-now three-of them were chosen. Sometimes, 你 never do.

They all missed Star. The girls kept in contact but lived pretty far away from one another, just in case GAA decided to come after them. Which is probably what happened to Star.

星, 星级 was dead, most likely. They probably killed her. There was a slim chance they took her back to GAA. But she was most likely dead. Still, Spencer, Laurel, and Layne were intent on finding out what happened.

The girls had never contacted 老友记 或者 family. After all, the girls were “dead.” And there would be massive consequences if anyone found out. No one needed to tell them that.

Spencer glanced at her phone. She didn’t know what she was expecting. One of the girls, saying they found out where 星, 星级 was. Never gonna happen. Even a little thing, like her friend Jason saying he got the job he interviewed for. Anything. She needed to talk to someone.

Her doorbell rang. Who could that be? Normally, her 老友记 called before coming over. It was probably some solicitor. She walked over and opened it. She gasped.

“Star?”

星, 星级 smiled. She was tall and skinny, with practically no cleavage but still gorgeous. Her clear blue-gray eyes sparkled like they always did. Her long, thin, straight white-blonde hair went to her waist, her bangs cut perfectly. “Hey,” she said.

Spencer pulled her into a hug. “Oh my God, where have 你 been?”

星, 星级 hugged back. “Don’t worry. I was just finishing some stuff up.”

“Why didn’t 你 call?”

“I was busy.”

Spencer could barely think. She pulled 星, 星级 inside. “You wouldn’t believe how happy I am to see you!”

“I’m happy to see you, too, Spence.”

“Do 你 need anything?” Spencer asked.

“Nope. I’m fine.” Star’s smile was still wide and sparkly. “Actually, I’ll have a water.”

“Tell me everything,” Spencer said. “We were worried sick! Tell me what 你 were up to!” She sat down at the table, handing the glass of water to Star.

星, 星级 sat down across from her. “It’s a long story.”

“I’m fine with long.” Spencer flipped her long, sleek, brown hair. It used to be a deep chestnut, but now it had hints of golden brown and had light red highlights.

“Well, I-“ 星, 星级 started, but Spencer interrupted her.

“You know, I should call the girls first.”

“That’s not necessary,” 星, 星级 said. “Anyway, I met up with Amber and Elody, and-“

“Wait,” Spencer looked skeptically at Star. “Amber and Elody?”

星, 星级 laughed. “Oh, sorry. Amber, Elody, and Danielle. Anyway, we were-“

“They’ve been dead for years,” Spencer said. “What are 你 talking about?”

星, 星级 shrugged. “Of course they’re dead. I know that.”

“So are 你 talking about a dream or…”

“Real life. 更多 或者 less.”

“Then how did you…”

“We’re all dead,” 星, 星级 said. “All five of them. Six, if 你 include me. I just came back to finish GAA’s business.”

Spencer shook her head. “Star, what…”

“Danielle, Elody, and Amber died at the GAA. I just killed the others.” 星, 星级 accidentally knocked over the water glass. “Oops!” She started cleaning up the water, which was now blood. She stood up, her face now rotted. “You’re next.” She was 下一个 to Spencer in a blink of an eye, and grabbed her throat.

---------------------------------------------

Spencer bolted up, hyperventilating. She was in her room. Alive. Obviously alive, since her 心 was pounding against her ribs. She closed her open MacBook, which was open to a 都市传说 website. She had to stop 阅读 those before bed.

She glanced at her alarm clock. “Crap,” she said, remembering she forgot to set her alarm. It was eight-oh-nine. She had work at eight thirty. In a rush, she pulled on a tight, long-sleeved, 花边 white 衬衫 with a blue denim vest. She pulled on a short black skirt, tied her golden brown hair into a high ponytail, and applied her makeup. Thank God she showered the night before. She grabbed her bag, put on her knee-high black combat boots, and jumped into her Prius.

She drove away from her house. It was good for a college student living alone, but not the best. It was Sunday, so she didn’t have any classes, just work. She would be graduating this year.

She and her 老友记 had scored new identities. They had to pretend that they didn’t know each other, but had their secret meetings. The all lived far apart, 或者 as far apart as 你 could be in Carline, Pennsylvania. Population: 2,906. Spencer Eymes had become Lorissa Martin at GAA. Now she was Spencer Reyes. She and the girls acted like normal citizens. She had a job at the small boutique on Main, in one of those two-story buildings that was connected to all the other ones. It was like the buildings in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, where she had gone last 年 for vacation.

She hit the side of the wheel in frustration when she hit the third red light in a row. She would definitely be late now. She turned up the radio to calm down. Pumped Up Kicks was playing. A normal person who had gone through everything she had would turn it off, the song being too much of a reminder of her time at GAA. But she found the theme of the song almost amusing. The catchy, playful tune didn’t go with the lyrics at all. She kept thinking about the song, taking her mind off things. When it switched to Party Rock Anthem, she immediately changed it. She couldn’t stand that song.

Finally, Spencer pulled into her spot 下一个 to the sidewalk right in front of Carrie’s, the boutique she worked at. It wasn’t really HER spot, but people tended to catch on that she liked to park there after her scene a few months 以前 when someone else parked there. She was nothing is not stubborn.

The 钟, 贝尔 chimed as she walked through the door. “Hey,” Carrie, the owner, called.

“Sorry I’m late,” Spencer said. “My alarm clock didn’t go off 或者 something. And I had a weird dream.”

“Weird 随意 或者 weird scary?” her coworker, Alexandria, asked.

“Scary,” Spencer said. “I fell asleep-“

“Reading creepypasta?”

Spencer chuckled. “How did 你 know?”

“You’re always 阅读 it. How can 你 stand it? It scares the hell out of me.”

“I like a good scare.”

“Get to work!” Carrie 说 as she walked to the back.

Spencer put her bag down and began organizing the new jewelry that had come in. “You should really read one, Alexi. There’s this one called The Russian Sleep Experiment with some people who become monsters because of a lack of sleep-“

“Stop!” Alexi yelled. “That’s not funny!”

“It’s very funny,” Spencer said. Alexi had a tendency to stay up multiple days in a row. “Then there’s a short one called The Frequency that made me scared of my computer.

“Seriously, Spence,” Alexi said. “Stop. 你 know those are the ones that would get to me.”

“That’s the point of creepypasta,” Spencer explained. “It uses things we hear about every 日 and scare us. It’s worse than horror movies.” Alexi groaned. Spencer continued. “Try Squidward’s Suicide. It’s a good one for rookies.”

“Just stop talking about it!” Alexi said. “I read one. It was called The Ring. Completely different from the movie.”

Spencer rolled her eyes. “The Ring isn’t even scary. Oh! Cupcakes! That one’s just disturbing.”

“That’s the My Little 小马 one?”

“Yeah.”

Alexi laughed and shook her head. “I can’t believe we’re talking about creepypasta. Who came up with that name, anyway?”

Spencer shrugged. “I don’t know. It’s as ridiculous as those shipper names from TV shows.”

Alexi laughed. “There’s a shipper name called Chair. That made me laugh.”

“Wonderful,” Spencer said, “A couple named after furniture. 你 know any 更多 funny-sounding ones?”

Alexi nodded. “A lot. They all sound weird. But the 最佳, 返回页首 three most weird sounding ones are Spoby, Brucas, and Puckelberry.”

Spencer laughed. “And it’s weird knowing my name is in the first one.”

Alexi shrugged. “Yeah, well.”

Spencer smiled. She loved her conversations with Alexi. She was tall, with straightened brown, almost black, hair, tannish skin, and brown eyes. Part Filipino. Alexandria was one of her best 老友记 outside of Layne and Laurel.

“Oh, did 你 hear about that missing girl?” Alexi asked.

“No,” Spencer said. “Who is she?”

“I forgot her name. But she’s from around here.”

“Where did 你 hear?”

“The news. Just local news. There are a lot of other missing people, so it’s not really noticeable.”

“Yeah. What did the girl look like?”

“Gorgeous,” Alexi said. “White-blonde hair, slightly dimpled chin, blue eyes. But I don’t know much.”

Spencer nodded. Of course it was Star.

“Oh, did 你 hear about those seven girls who disappeared from Oregon, like, eight years ago?” Alexi asked.

Spencer whirled. “Umm, no,” she lied. “Where did 你 hear about that?”

Alexi shrugged. “Jason told me. He 说 one of them was named Spencer.”

“Creepy,” Spencer said. Of course it was her. Seven girls go in, four come out, one goes missing. “Hey, have 你 seen Jason recently? I haven’t heard from him in a while.”

Alexi shook her head. “Nope.”

The 钟, 贝尔 rang as someone walked through the door. Spencer looked up to see Jason waving at her. “Speak of the devil.”
Jason walked over. “Hey, girls.”

“Hey, Jason,” Alexi 说 flirtatiously. Spencer nudged her. Alexi walked away to help another customer.

“What’s up?” Spencer asked.

Jason ran a hand through his hair. “Not much. Sorry I haven’t called 或者 anything, I’ve been busy.”

“It’s fine,” Spencer said. “Oh, I was wondering, how was your date?”

Jason shrugged. “Not the best.”

“Aw. I’m sorry.”

“It’s fine. I wasn’t really into him anyway.”

“Well, I’m sure you’ll find the perfect guy for you, someday.” Spencer smiled. Jason didn’t come across to the average person as gay. He seemed like a normal, straight guy. Which he wasn’t. Not the straight part, anyway. Spencer had played matchmaker for him a few times, which never seemed to work.

“Yeah, I wish. If your friend would stop flirting with me.”

Spencer chuckled. “She’s just joking. She knows you’re gay.”

“Really?”

Spencer rolled her eyes. It was no surprise, Jason was hot. He had sort of longish, shaggy brown hair and ice blue eyes that popped out at you. And she had seen him shirtless that one time at the 海滩 in New Hampshire…

Alexi walked over, interrupting the conversation. “Spence, do 你 know where that blue 夹克 is? With the 金牌 buttons?”

Spencer pointed to a rack near the back of the store. “Over there.”

“’Kay.” Alexi walked over, keeping eye contact with Jason for just a little too long.

Spencer rolled her eyes again. “Alexi, watch it!”

Alexi watched it, leading a confused customer to the rack.

Jason laughed. “You know that missing girl? 星, 星级 或者 something?”

Spencer flinched. “Yeah.”

“They matched her to a girl who disappeared eight years ago.”

Spencer stopped what she was doing. “Wait, what?”

Jason shrugged. “She had a different last name, but the same first name and same appearance.”

Spencer stood there, shocked. Someone had found out. Someone had identified Star.

“Which means this girl was alive all this time, just never found, then she went missing again,” Jason explained.

“Yeah, I know what it means.”

“Then why are 你 so…”

“I don’t know,” Spencer said. “I just…excuse me.” She walked to the staff room, leaving Jason standing there, confused.

---------------------------------------------

“Come on, pick up,” Spencer whispered as she paced around the room with her cell phone. It went to voicemail. “Hey, Laur, it’s me, Spencer. Umm, there’s something I really need to tell 你 and Layne, so if 你 could come over later 或者 something, that would be great. So, just, call back when 你 get this. Bye.”

She had called both Layne and Laurel, but neither of them were picking up. She began to worry. What if they were gone, too?

Luckily, she heard back. Layne’s phone died and 月桂树 was at a movie. They got to Spencer’s around eightish that night.

---------------------------------------------

The girls sat at Spencer’s 晚餐 table. She tried not to remember her nightmare from the night before. “So, 你 guys know that Star’s disappearance has become public?”

月桂树 nodded. “Yeah. Why?”

“They found out she disappeared eight years ago,” Spencer answered. “They know it’s the same girl.”

Layne looked at Spencer in shock. “Wait, what?”
“You heard me.”

月桂树 looked panicked. “Do they know about us?”

Spencer shook her head. “No. Not yet. But we should move, now.”

“What do 你 mean move?” 月桂树 asked.

“Move. Get away from here before they can find us.”

“Where will we go?” asked Layne.

Spencer shrugged. “I don’t know. South, maybe.”

月桂树 nodded. “Okay. When?”

“Next week, at the least.”

Layne exchanged a glance with 月桂树 and nodded slightly, looking down. “Okay.”

Spencer’s attention turned to Layne. “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing,” Layne said. “It’s fine. We’re moving.”

Chapter one: The New Guy

"So, he brings me 首页 and we are standing at my front door right? He leans in and I'm thinking he's going to 吻乐队(Kiss) me, but-"

"Miss Benton." Mr. Tatum stopped Sadie's rant. "Would 你 like to share with the class?"

"No, thanks." She smiles.

He lets out an angry "harrumph" and goes back to his Econ lesson.

"I'll tell 你 later." She whispers.

"Okay." I laugh and turn my attention to Mr. Tatum and my notes.

Hi! This is a story about angels, and I hope 你 all enjoy it! ^_^

There is a secret place made especially for us in the world. It lies on a secluded island in the Atlantic Ocean that remains undetected from the outside world.
This is where we, the 天使 that remained on Earth after thousands of years, rest in peace.
I was born an angel, my white, softer than marshmallows, wings sprouted forth after my birth. They grew as my body matured into that of a young adult of sixteen.
It was on my seventeenth birthday that everything changed. Well, it was actually about a week after the huge party that...

I was sitting on my bed; my legs were in my chest, my arms wrapped around them. There was a thunderstorm tonight; i've always loved thunderstorms. There was a flash of lightning and my room lite up around me. I smiled; the thunder was next. It was a huge clapp of thunder. Thunder was always my 最喜爱的 part of thunder storms because it was louder than life. There was another flash of lightning; i saw a dark figure outside my window lite up 由 the lightning.

I was scared. I didnt dare move. I sat without movement; maybe it would go away. But he didnt go away. He tapped on the window; i saw...

I NEED inspiration for this book. I cant say why, because it will ruin the last book but the school has been rebuilt, and theres a new gardening class, and Haru-Kun, Kariko-Kun, and Shimura-Chan are falling into love, could Kariko finaly fall for Haru, 或者 could it be Haikuga-Kun? Haru could have his 心 torn into pieces, 或者 turned into gold. And Shimura, being the only lesbian in the school could have problems with 爱情 too. Karuga-Chan (a new character introduced as a Japenese girl found lying on the 海滩 after a violent storm) changes all of that. Life when thrive this 年 in Dojenskei Koukou (Dojenskei High School). All these 问题 and 更多 will be answered in the garden of Hinjou, the Garden Classroom. Be waiting, Both the first chapter of the first and 秒 book are being worked on. (PLEASE give me good names for the third and fourht book, and the main name for the 秒 series, such as Burning Passion Book One: The Flame. (oo, I might use that) Byes!)

The Man With No Eyes Collection (6): Dream

A crystallized life, on the bright TV screen,

But I’ve finally broken away from the dream,

And into the warm embrace of your esteem.

The stage that I left disappears from my mind,

Like suddenly being engulfed 由 sunshine,

I am truly alive, for the very first time,

All at once, let me sing, let me cry!

‘Til it bursts,

From my lungs, like a child,

Let me smile ‘til it hurts!

Let the blue of the morning

Strike my tearful eyes,

I still don’t know how,

I still don’t know why,

(I still fear this life may yet be a lie,)

But even if this world is the true dream, I want to play out this beautiful scene.

Here it is, the last in the Man With No Eyes Collection! I wanted to complete this on a pleasant note, give the guy some mercy.

I just started going on the path where my life had no light. I missed everyone from our school who graduated, and I really had many amazing 老友记 there. 老友记 who gave me memories that lasted forever...friends who helped me out when things got bad...friends who were always there for me. I know, however, that they will always continue to be in my heart, even as they went away from me. If they never come back, they will still have left hand prints on my 心 that will never be washed away. Life without the light makes me feel so lonely...like a vagabond on the streets with no home...like an eagle with no prey...like me with no one to cry with. However sad this situation I find myself in...I still know that life will go on...and I must continue to strive to be the best I can be. Even without the warmth of my 老友记 close by, I know that they will always be 由 my side even if they are not with me. All my 老友记 are the light in my life.

The noise,
buzzing and buzzing in my ears.
It's just not right,
你 think 你 are so bright,
saying 你 buzz because 你 care.
But it's so unfair.
I don't need your concern,
the best way 你 can 显示 你 care,
is to leave me alone.
Why can't 你 understand?
Have 你 tried to understand?
Do I really expect 你 to understand?
This is not a teenage problem,
the excuse 你 uses so often,
This is about my freedom.
你 think I don't know anything,
你 think I am naive and innocent.
But things are so different.
你 think because 你 are older,
你 know 更多 than we do,
That’s not true.
The world has changed,
We are not the fairy tales that sing,
we are the ones who could take our lives in a blink.
No, 你 are lying to yourself,
blocking the truth that would make 你 knelt

It would be nice if the world worked like a remote.

Where, if 你 were in a bad situation, 你 could pause it, and still keep moving yourself.
Where, if 你 happened to be in a bad situation, 你 could press “pause” and think of what to do next.
Where 你 could completely abandon certain aspects of life, like selecting a different episode.
But, if 你 skip an episode, 你 don’t learn what 你 need to learn from it, and 你 get confused on the 下一个 one. You’ll be behind, and unable to catch back up. Because 你 just can’t stand to watch that episode that comes first.
It’d be nice if we...

I look out
Into the crowd
Looking for you
Hoping to see you

I search
And search
But can’t find
Your face

In all the crowd
The one person
I wanted to see
I couldn’t see

I was left
With my disappointment
As I begin to think
Of all the times
You’ve broken your word

But then
I should have known
你 never stayed
Unless 你 profited

你 never were
A real dad
Never has been
Never will

I look out
In the crowd
Hoping against hope
That 你 will be there

But I shouldn't even bother
I'm a nobody
Someone 你 never loved
Someone 你 don't even know

Maybe someday
I'll learn
That all I get from you
Is broken promises
Half truths
And utter disappointments

So now I say good bye to it all
The hurt and anger
My disappointment
And you

"You'll never get the secret from me!" The monsters' eyes gleamed. They wanted me to yell. It was a sign of my weakening resolve. I lowered my voice. "The secret is worthless to 你 unless 你 know where they are. Without them, you'll be trapped." None of us in the small chamber knew who was bluffing and who wasn't.
"We will get the secrets. Do not worry about that. Your 'friends' helped us 更多 than they could realize," a large black…thing said. Its eyes gleamed yellow. Not yellow like the sun, but yellow like the foulest thing ever seen. Another spoke up.
"What is in this case? 你 act like it contains something of value. Is the secret in there?"
"That's for me to know, and 你 to spend the rest of your lives guessing. The secret is going back where it belongs. Tonight. Once it's there, it will be forever beyond your reach."

And that is where I stop. If I get at least ten favorable comments, I'll write more. And be honest.
