Both seasons were good,but season 1 started off kinda slow.It didn't get really edge-of-your-seat-mouth-watering-actiony until season 2,at least for me.

^^^^ Agreed. Season 2 was when I really fell in love with the show. Season 1 is much better to watch after already seeing the show.

The only reason I didn't pick Season Two was because I felt it was slow, and the Maryanne storyline was torture and boring.

I loved season one. It truly brought the pages of Dead Until Dark to life. I fell in love with these characters during this season, and it lead me to this wonderful book searies. i have now read all the books and short stories. I love this series so much. However, I thought the second season was disgraceful. I hated everything they did with the maryanne story line. If you read the books you would know that this character was not this distructive or important. I think that they should have made that part of the story more like what happened in the books. I would tell you more but i don't want to ruin it for anyone that hasn't read the books. They truly messed this season up, and from what i can tell from the previews so far they are going to mess this season up as well. I am hoping not, but if they do I might just stop watching the show. i had to force myself to watch the last few episodes of season two. Also having read the eleventh book now Godric was a mistake on the writers part. Eric maker is brought up later in the series and it is kind of important what happens. Also, Sophie need to be a little less important this early in the show, and there is no main leader of the vamps in North America, this is such crap too. Oh well I hope they know what they are doing. i hope they go back to the way it was in season one where the add in stuff doesn't contradict the overall story of the books. Club Dead was a really good read, and I hope they don't change it for season 3.

And I bet season 4 will be the best, since it's suposed to have *SPOILER!!!* mostly E1r1i1c1-1S1o1o1k1i1e1 :P
