Here's a 列表 of all the narrators, and which one is my favorite.
First off, Ringo Starr
I first heard Ringo narrate Thomas The Tank Engine when I was four. I thought he was good, though I only heard him narrate seven episodes. Eventually I got to hear him narrate more, and more. I'm not sure why he stopped, because Ringo was good.
George Carlin
George is the very first narrator I heard. It seemed interesting having a comedian that 说 f*ck all the time narrating a children's show. At the time when I first heard him, I didn't know he was a comedian. Now, to get back on topic. The many voices George did was very well done. I especially liked his take on Bill, and Ben.
Michael Angelis
Don't ask me why they had this guy narrating. Because I'm only going to tell 你 one time. He was TERRIBLE!! No narrator was worse then him! I would hide in a corner whenever I heard him narrate, and hoped that I would never hear his horrifying voice again. How could they have him be narrator for 20 years?
Alec Baldwin
I've heard a few people complain about Alec narrating, but he's not bad if 你 ask me. He had a good voice for Gordon, Sir Tophamm Hatt, and many other characters. He was even Mr. Conductor in Thomas And The Magic Railway.
Michael Brandon
Be prepared for a shocker. I liked hearing him narrate. While most of the Thomas 粉丝 decided to find reasons on hating Michael Brandon's performance, I noticed how good he was. Some of the voices he makes sound funny, especially when he does Rusty. If 你 watch the episode Which Way Now, you'll know what I'm talking about.
Pierce Brosnan
Now, you're all probably wondering. When did a famous actor that portrayed James Bond, and the main character for several pornographies become a Thomas The Tank Engine Narrator? Answer: The Great Discovery. It's too bad that's all he did though. I was really hoping he'd replace Michael Angelis. Now, I'm not saying Pierce is good, just because I liked seeing him as James Bond. I really thought he was good, because of how he told the story. I wish I was as good as him, but I still think George Carlin was better.
Mark Moraghan
I keep forgetting this guy's name. He's the newest narrator, for both the US, and UK version of Thomas, and Friends. I've heard Mark narrate a lot of episodes, and he's good. He also replaced Michael Angelis. Thank 你 HIT Entertainment. At least 你 did something good for once!
