She was his true love. I know there are always going to be those who say his true love was Jane Seymour because she gave him a son but thats the point. He loved her because she gave her a son. His love for Anne was more than that. The things we love the most we destroy!

Anne Boleyn he did everything to be with her. Jane may have given hm a son but if she didn't i am sure he would have never said that. Plus they wern't even together more than a year maube even less than a year

I totally agree with all of you! My feeling tells me that he loved her the most and Henry proved it by seperating from the Catholic Church and the Pope. Additionally I think he was hurt when all those rumors about Anne, her brother and all those other "lovers" were going around. His pride and his position forced him to execute her. But I'm pretty sure, that he still loved her.

He thought he loved Jane, though. But for heaven's sake, he separated from Rome for Anne. THAT is something.

I agree with you. He loved Anne, which you can see in the third or fourth last episode of the second season, when Cromwell tells him, that she had many,many loveaffairs with several men.
And he seperated from the Holy Church, only to be able to marry sweet Anne. And he had never executed Anne, if Cromwell hadn't hate her.

Jane because she was the one who finally gave him a son, and when he was dying he requested to be buried next to her. And in the final episode of series 4, when he saw her ghost he broke down the most, because she was the one she loved. Had she not died I suspect he may have had just the three wives instead of six.

I think Jane is the best. Sure she gave Henry a son, but I think he loved he more than just that.

Anne and Henry's relationship was strictly lust and that's not love at all.

I think Henry was enthralled by Anne but he was always going to grow tired of her once that flare had died down.
Jane gave him the son he always wanted, she also wasn't as intelligent as Anne so didn't challenge him where he did not want to be challenge, and if she did it was accidental and she wouldn't do it again. She was the sort of Queen that Henry wanted.
