The 圣诞节 树 was in the corner of what would be your family room.
你 and Ponyboy had just bought a house together, and were pretty much broke. 你 hadn’t gotten furniture 或者 anything. Just you, 你 boyfriend, some blankets and pillows, and the 圣诞节 树 in the corner.
你 sit 由 the fireplace, having a beer, and look up at the 圣诞节 tree. There was just a strand of lights on it, nothing much.
” I have something for the tree.” Ponyboy says, smiling as he walks in.
“What’s that?” 你 ask.
He sits down beside you, and hands 你 a star. It’s old and rusted. It has little swirls and designs carved into it.
“It was my mom’s.” he explains. “Her grandpa made it for her. He told her that the 星, 星级 didn’t need to be shiny 或者 fancy 或者 anything, because 你 know baby 耶稣 wasn’t fancy 或者 anything. He was beautiful just the way he was.”
“It’s perfect.” 你 smile, and give him a quick kiss. “Now help me put it on the 最佳, 返回页首 of the tree.”
He stands up, and 你 jump on his back. He gives 你 a piggyback ride to the tree, where 你 place the 星, 星级 on top.
“Merry Christmas, babe.”
你 and steve have been 老友记 since 你 were toddlers. 你 were sitting on the porch of your house and 你 see him approaching. 你 look at his stunning eyes and it's when 你 finally notice that 你 like him but not like a friend anymore, 你 want him to be just yours and no one elses. He comes to 你 and says "Hey Kayla!" "Hey Steve!" He grabs hold of your hands and pulls 你 closer to him. Your confused as to what he is doing but 你 just go with it. He looks at 你 and says " I 爱情 you" and kisses 你 on your lips for what seemed like an endless amount of time. 你 withdraw from his lips and look at him smiling and 你 say "I 爱情 你 too steve" his face lights up and says "You do kayla?" "Yes steve, I always have" and he plants another 吻乐队（Kiss） on your lips and hugs 你 ...
