What are your thoughts, as a Beatles fan, on One Direction?

Both are great. But what's the point of hating them? They're a lot like us inside. Just because they're hot doesn't mean Directionators have to invade. The thing with One Direction is that many loathe them. I just want 更多 people to accept both bands as they are and for once not compare them, because I don't see how they're all that alike. Harry's got a fetish in pussy, for one thing, and I don't remember any Beatles singer being as loud as Louis.

I can't say I completely agree with you... I don't think the purpose of this boy band is to become as famous (or 更多 famous) as/than The Beatles... I think the 音乐 industry wants another band like The Backstreet Boys for example... And so far it's working. Personally, I don't like them and I don't think they're very talented, autotune can make miracles if 你 know what I mean... They're overrated because they're a commercial band just like any of those pop artists that all sound alike but that can't sing so no I don't think they have anything to do with The Beatles because even if they were as talented as them, they still aren't at all the same type of band... I'm not hating on 1D btw I'm just giving my opinion...

I think that they're extremely overrated. :P They're not nearly as annoying as Bieber yet.

Like most people in this club, I dont really like them, but i do got my eye on one of them...
But anyway, what REALLY bugs me is how people compare 1D & the Beatles.
All because they're both from (the best country in the world) England doesnt mean 你 have to compare them.
& to be frank, the Beatles aint a boy band.
Boy bands are like dancing and 唱歌 to cheesy pop 音乐 that they proberly didnt write.
But the Beatles, they PLAY instruments. They WRITE their own songs & none of their songs sound similar unlike 1D's (eg. listen 2 What Makes 你 Beautiful & One Thing & you'll see what I mean).
Another thing, boy bands HAVE 2 be able to dance, but the Beatle cant dance worth shit (not trying to be rude, bit its sorta true...)
& the only kind of boy bands that can get away this kind of stuff are ones from Korea. (seriously, they're awesome!)

I'm a die-hard 粉丝 of The Beatles. Die hard. I have been for my whole life, and I will continue to be. However, I'm starting to like One Direction. They're cute, funny, and have pretty nice voices! The Beatles were 流行的 during their time because their 音乐 genre was what was in. One Direction is 流行的 now, because their 音乐 genre is what is in. I used to hate their guts. I used to think that they're just another stupid boy band trying to copy The Beatles. But honestly, isn't everybody trying to copy The Beatles? 你 have to think of back in 1964. In 1964, all of the people who aren't very fond of One Direction probably wouldn't like The Beatles! You'd think that "Oh, they're just another boy band trying to copy Elvis", which they were, but how many people are bothered 由 that? 你 know what I'm saying? I realize that I'm not making much sense today, but I'm trying my best. I think that Paul McCartney and Louis Tomlinson can get along! And would, if they knew each other.

Well, personally, I'm Directioneutral (some goofy word me&my 老友记 use to describe not loving 或者 hating one direction). Anyway, they should NOT be compared to the Beatles. This is because, let's put it straight here, One Direction are NOT THE BEATLES and NEVER WILL BE. People need to stop comparing them. And on 最佳, 返回页首 of that, it made me mad beyond belief that they did Abbey Road. Not to mention, they didn't do it right!! Either the 秒 last guy 或者 the third guy (it would be the same with 4, but different with 5) has to be barefoot for it to be done right.

So people need to QUIT COMPARING THE TWO and just sit back and listen to something calm like 嘿 Jude, which is exactly what I'm gonna do.

I hate them now. I admit that I used to be a 粉丝 but that lasted about 4 months so.. yeah. But to me NOW they suck.

I can't say, exactly, what I would think of One Direction, because I've only ever heard one of their songs. But I can say this. NO BAND should EVER try and take over the Beatles' 最佳, 返回页首 position, and NOBODY should ever try to compare the Beatles to anyone else. If One Direction thinks they can be the 下一个 Beatles, then I hate them, of course, on principle. But seriously, most of these new pop bands aren't exactly serious competition for the Fab Four. Shouldn't we be 更多 worried about bands from the seventies, that time when the Beatles had just broken up and every other band was going crazy, screaming and jumping and thinking they could take their 最佳, 返回页首 spot even though they sounded nothing like the Beatles? But most Beatles 粉丝 don't seem to have a problem with liking those bands too. I don't get it.

No band now in days will NEVER 最佳, 返回页首 The Beatles. Expecially, One Direction, the band I NEVER cared for. I 爱情 The Beatles. I also 爱情 Bee Gees and the rest of the 60's and 70's bands. The oldies will always 最佳, 返回页首 the 音乐 bands today. I'm not a 粉丝 of One Direction, Justin Bieber 或者 any of today's bands. I'm a huge 粉丝 of the oldies and The Beatles will always be the best and no other band will 最佳, 返回页首 them.

I'm not a big 粉丝 of them. Some of their songs are all right, but I like the Beatles better. There was a video on YouTube called Kids React to The Beatles. One of the kids said, "Everyone is saying that One Direction replaced the Beatles. No, the Beatles are irreplaceable." I said, "Thank you! Somebody gets me!"
