Anger between enemies

Uncle-Chairman Sonic doesn't have any reason to be angry at Jet, especially since he's proved he's just as good at Extreme Gear racing as he is, and especially not as angry as to view him as an arch-nemesis. This also just seems out-of-character for Sonic, seeing as he's only seen even his most bitter enemies, such as Eggman himself, as little more than friendly rivals with little to no personal animosity towards them. "Oh, but it's fanon, it's allowed to contradict canon."
