No. From what I've read, It's going to be just (Not counting the aliens,) Eggman, Sonic and Tails.

SEGA Is trying to go back to It's roots, the Genesis days, so It's going to be quite a long time before any other characters aside from Sonic, Tails, Knuckles 或者 Eggman 显示 up In a newer game.
Why? I think It's a good thing their going back to the roots of the old games. Besides, 你 people seem to be forgetting that video games are for fun, not 辩论 或者 characters. If 你 want to just worry about characters, then go watch TV 或者 a Movie.
