Nation tripped along adorably. He was on his way to meet his lover, Mary Lee, for Valentine's Day. He smiled to see an 犰狳 hopping along, carrying a 树 in its mouth.

Fun 犰狳 Facts

- The 犰狳 is the state small mammal of Texas.
- 犰狳 comes from the Spanish, meaning “little armored one.”
- Armadillos are one of the few 动物 who consume 火, 消防 ants as part of their diet. Such an ability can make armadillos very beneficial to humans.
- Besides being excellent diggers, armadillos are also good swimmers. Armadillos can hold their breath for up to 6 minutes.
- Armadillos have poor eyesight and so can be easily startled while foraging.
- If they can’t dig under it, armadillos will climb over it and are quite capable of scaling fences and trees.

Because of these facts, I want an armadillo. I will name it Nation, after my half-blood armadillo.
