As if you weren’t already concerned about the futures of your French Court faves, new photos from the CW drama’s Season 3 premiere (Friday, Oct. 9 at 8/7c) paint a truly chilling portrait of what’s to come this fall.

In addition to the sinister characters we already don’t trust — I’m looking at you, Catherine and Elizabeth — we’re also introduced to Saamer Usmani as Martin de Lambert; he isn’t doing anything particularly mischievous in this batch of photos, but anyone who wears
