I agree for most people. I suppose it doesn't work as well with people like someone_save_me, but music seems to be a pretty accurate judge otherwise. Like the people that listen exclusively to pop music are generally ignorant conformists.

And I'm into the whole pop-punk scene, and there tends to be a sort of common thread among those fans. As Soupy Campbell from the Wonder Years once said, "I think that most everyone I know involved in punk or hardcore is intrinsically fucked up on some level. There is something wrong with us. Maybe not 'wrong,' but certainly different. Because of this, I think we all share a similar outlook and because of that, we share similar experiences." It seems pretty damn true for the most part. I click better with punk fans than I do with anyone else. I've made more friends at shows than at school.

I agree with r-pattz.

The stereotype metalhead is agressive. Most metalheads really aren't. And as with someone_save_me, I like almost all music. I can't really say I agree with this.

I listen to a ton of different genres so this isn't true for me.

I feel you can't sum up your opinion on a person judging by just their taste in music alone.
