Sometimes they fade into the background when something new comes up but they always end up coming back eventually. Best example; I was obsessed with Azula from 07 to about 09. Then she was replaced by Bellatrix and Regina. I'm very obviously back to Azula--she came back nearly 4 years later.

I have a few things that I really liked in the past that I kind of cringe at now, but I still have a mega soft spot for them. Shugo Chara, for instance, I kind of cringe when I look back on.... But I still have the biggest soft spot for it and it's kind of a guilty pleasure. Same with Hetalia. And Death the Kid. Not Soul Eater on the whole cause I still love Soul Eater its just Death the Kid I cringe at....XD And not even Death the Kid himself just at myself and how I was, really.

But something like Invader Zim, though, I have stayed pretty obsessed with my whole life. I'm not as obsessed with Invader Zim as I was but I've loved it with all my heart since the day it aired, and I still wear Gir merchandise and quote it on the daily. No joke. Am legitimately wearing Gir merch as I speak.

It depends. I go through obsessions, but it's pretty rare I actually end up disliking anything I liked to begin with. Generally speaking, I'm an extremely loyal person so when I latch onto something, I'm there for life.
