yes,that's happened a few times.Although I don't eat spicy,hot foods,I have taken a bites of 食物 that is still hot from the oven,because I can't wait to eat that delicious food

Yes, I tend not to wait until my 食物 或者 hot drinks have cooled down. I really hate it, I get like this metallic taste in my mouth.

I have burn my mouth plenty of times when I cook especially pasta.

When eating hot 比萨, 比萨饼 - the cheese burns the roof of my mouth. When eating spicy foods I tend to burn my tongue not the roof of my mouth.
