The 1951 version of 'The 日 the Earth Stood Still' is one of my all-time favorites. It may seem a bit dated to some, but I think that all of the points it tries to get across are just as relevant today as they were then. (sorry - image wouldn't upload)
I'm a huge movie person so it's difficult to pick just one.
But I'll go with Whiplash. Ever since I first saw it I've been addicted to it. It somehow just keeps getting better and better each time I watch it. 表演 is powerful, soundtrack is brilliant, and the editing ughh the editing is some of the best I've seen in ages. Just amazing film-making.
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King is honestly one of the best 电影院 of all time. Everything from the dialogue (funny, heartfelt and dramatic in equal measure) to the soundtrack (written so expertly as to have a distinctive melody for every theme) to the scenery (gorgeous New Zealand countryside, anyone?) to the general cinematography (Lighting of the Beacons scene, omg) is just perfect. <3
Oh and Orlando Bloom/Legolas is hella hot ;)

I totally agree.it's my fave of the 3 and Orlando is very hot
