People do not like it mostly because of the whole "it's a sin it's written in the bible," argument. There's a lot of things that are sinful that people still do. 纹身 for example. I know christians who will say 纹身 are not a sin but being gay is. To be honest I find the whole idea of people hating gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgendered dumb. 爱情 is love. People should be allowed to marry who they want and have it recognized without having to live in fear 或者 not be recognized legally. I'm all for it. Hell I have a girlfriend. We've been together over a 年 and my state just recognized gay marriage and legalized it back in May. At least states are starting to come around now. Supreme court too. They are refusing review on gay marriage bans in states. We're soon gonna have it legal in all 50 states if this keeps up. Thank god. And another thing, God created everything for a reason. He wouldn't have created gays and 女同性恋 for no reason.

Honestly I could go on about this topic forever, but I'll say it simply right here:
People that hate on gay people and think that they are going to hell are COMPLETE morons who need to build a damn bridge and get the hell over it.

It's a topic that has been going on for years. And I always wonder the same thing. Why do people care if men 爱情 men 或者 women 爱情 women? How can it possibly affect them? Simple, it can't affect them, it's just what they read in a book, it's just a book, yet so many people make such a huge deal about it, especially gay people. To me, if God, really, truly thought homosexuality was a sin, I don't think there would even be such a thing as homosexuality. I am Christian 或者 Catholic, so I don't agree with their views. I have relatives who are Christian, but not once have I heard the words 'Homosexuality is a sin' come out of their mouths. They have a lot of 老友记 and I'm pretty sure, some of them are gay. People who are homophobic should just shut their mouths and keep their non-worthy opinions to themselves. Gay people aren't hurting anyone 由 being attracted to the same sex and wanting to get married to the same sex. Some people are gay, they should get over it and worry about their own sad little lives. As for me I am a Gay rights supporter and I hope that one day, gay marriage will be accepted all over the world.

OK, I won't go on about this subject (mainly cuz I'm tired and I'm saving this topic for an 文章 I have yet to write) but I will say at least a couple of sentences. And before 你 "throw the stone" at me, I DO NOT hate those people. I've stated before I have NO hatred towards gays, so... yeah. Moving on....

1: True, He doesn't hate gays. He doesn't hate us at all. However, He does hate the Sin.

2: Yes, He gave us free will. But we cannot use free will as an excuse to STAY in Sin. We can choose to stay in it 或者 choose to let 耶稣 help us break away from it. There are many other choices, but only one RIGHT choice.

3: No, they're lifestyle isn't hurting us, but it's harmful to themselves (I know I probably make no sense, but please let me quickly state this...) All Sin is harmful to us, and it keeps us from God, and how much He wants to give us all a chance at redemption.

So with that, I'll just leave my post as is. BTW your friend sound horrible, and I feel bad for you. And her. Hating on people for their Sin's is wrong.

I agree because even if religions don't agree with gays and gay marriage they need to at least 显示 respect to them and not diss and abuse them for being gay

People should not be openly criticised for doing what they want unless it affects everyone else in a bad way

I so agree.God loves each and everyone of us equally.It doesn't matter if we're gay,straight,black,white.We shouldn't judge people because of race,religion 或者 sexual orientation.God doesn't judge people,so why should we?We may not agree on some of the same issues,but it doesn't hurt anyone if they allow same sex marriages.If they're in 爱情 they should be allowed to get married,no matter what.

I have no problem with gay people. I'm no homophobe. In this world, despite all the challenges we, as individuals, face, it's easier and 更多 peaceful to just accept people for who they are... unfortunately, that's not always the case, as humans are not perfect.

Gays and 女同性恋 can marry in my opinion.

Personally, I'm very pro-gay marriage. I think it's a wonderful thing.
Lots of people disagree and quote the bible as their reason. However, I think the Bible is very contradictory on this point. There are lots of different opinions quote in the Bible, and lots of them contradict each other. I do think, though, that some people purposefully are inconsistent with the scripture to enforce their prejudices.

well, personally im an athiest. But, christians and catholics and all the other religions keep on saying how "God doesnt want two men 或者 women to have sex, 或者 get married," when, there is also an argument that says only God can judge others. how do they know what God really wants, how do they know that God isnt a little, open minded about it. people just need to calm the hell down.
