建议 on feeding children and what i do to get him to eat.

I've asked this on the 建议 thread also, but just to get a wide range of opinions here it is on the 随意 thread -

I have a four 年 old son. He's an average kid, naughty at times, a smile that says 牛油, 黄油 wouldn't melt in his mouth. I 爱情 him to bits, but when he was a few months old, due to some 前一个 mental problems i had, i suffered from post-natal depression and he was taken away from me and 给 to my parents even though we still had parental responsibility over him and saw him every day. He came back to me and my partner at 9 months old and would eat absolutely everything. Our dinners mashed in the blitzer, fruit, veg. 你 name it he ate it. He started nursery at 3 yrs old and ever since he hasn't eaten a thing apart from the occasional chicken nugget when i give in, crisps, biscuits, cereal for lunch as he doesn't eat breakfast like me so i'm not worried about that, and cake. I've been to the doctors and told him, but he didn't seem to care and 说 it he was eating those he was fine, but i'm desperate for him to eat something 更多 substantial. I've tried everything i can think of, and even asked 建议 from my mum and grandma, and other mums at school but there tips didn't seem to work. He's starting proper school in september so i have the summer holidays to get him into a meal routine but i'm struggling. I've been so desperate i put him in front of the computer and showed him pictures of young men and women suffering from anorexia and explained what it was, and begged him to eat something but he didn't seem phased. Now i'm worried.

What can i do to get him to eat proper food, and do 你 think i was too harsh 展示 him the pictures? I just don't want him to starve. I hear his stomach growling, but when i ask him if he's hungry he just shakes his head. I'm so worried :(

Hm..... I don't think you're being too harsh 展示 him the pictures, but I just don't think he's old enough to fully grasp the concept. Maybe slightly, but not the long-term affects.
Since he's young, I would attempt to keep feeding him those type of things 你 listed, 你 know chicken nuggets, crisps, biscuits, etc., Even if it fattens him up 或者 something, it's better than letting him starve. If he eats a lot of that, what I would do is slowly start to slip in an occasional healthy, filling 食物 as well, if 你 feel the need to, until it turns into a real meal. I don't know if he eats anything like macaroni and cheese, but I know people who, when feeding their kids that, chop up vegetables like 西兰花 and hide it in there so it's barely noticeable. Surely 你 can do that with other foods as well.
See what was happening at nursery, maybe something happened there that changed his attitude towards eating. Make him look at eating as a good thing. If he shows no improvement in September, talk to his new school and see what they can do.
I don't know- That's just what I think. Best wishes on this.

Thanks honey that's a good idea. I've already spoken to his nursery teacher but she doesn;t seem too worried at the moment as they give the children 水果 for a snack, he eats bananas but anything else he rolls across the floor. I have tried choppig 西兰花 and green beans into his mashed potatoes, but he won't eat those anyway. But your idea has 给 me a brain wave, i could make my own chicken nuggets instead of buying them and putting veg in those. I'll give it a try and see what happens. Thanks, you've been very helpful :)

That sounds like it could turn into a serious health problem if he never eats.

Talk to a doctor.
