I need help making a decision.

My computer is crap... it's always freezing, crashing, and I have to pray for it just to turn on.
I can't play any of my installed video games.

My father said, and I quote, "You could buy yourself an early 圣诞节 present."
In my personal bank account, I have around $2,000.

For a whole new computer and 'features', my father 说 it could be around $1,000.

So, I'm asking, should I do it? Should I just buy a whole new computer?

~Thank 你 in advanced

If 你 think it would be a good investment then 你 should. Here are some 问题 to ask yourself that may clarify it for you:

1) Do 你 have any plans for your savings?
2) If so, how important are they?
3) Could 你 earn the money back somehow if 你 spent it?
4) How often would 你 use the new computer?
5) Would it help 你 with school, etc?
6) Are 你 happy enough to continue using your current computer if it saves 你 the money?

I hope this makes it easier for 你 to make your decision. :)

Wait until Black Friday to get it, if you're going to. The prices should be cheaper. I got my computer in March for around $600 new. I spent another $150 on accessories. Also, ask yourself if 你 really need a new computer 或者 if 你 could just get it repaired 或者 something. 你 could also sell your old computer.
