I'm in a situation...

你 want to be a Christian goth, yet you're insulted 由 your parents for being a goth.
The fuck?
If 你 WANT to be a goth, 你 shouldn't be INSULTED 或者 ASHAMED for being called a goth. It's what 你 want right? Don't be ashamed when your parents call 你 goth. Say "Thank you! You've noticed~." 或者 something like that. Become what 你 want, and see if 你 really do want to be a Christian goth because it's a lifestyle that appeals to you, not because 你 want to be one.

Well 搜索 for some christian goth artists to use them as examples... Are 你 a protestant? If 你 are, doesn't your church have pastors 你 can get an appointment with and with whom 你 can talk so that 你 can find some solution?

All I can say is, be you. If that 你 is Goth, then I don't see the problem. If you're Christian that's great that 你 believe in God. People are just judgemental and stupid and always will be wherever 你 go so all 你 can do is try to ignore them.

Nobody can't order 你 how to look like-neither your parents.Christian goths are cool & if 你 want to be one of them 你 have to be strong enough to stand up to your parents and everyone else..Just don't give a f*ck about what anyone says.

I think 你 should talk to the calmly, like an adult. Explain why 你 think this way and 显示 them examples of other Christian Goths. Try to be really good in the days before 你 do this, though. Try cleaning and doing chores without being asked to, and be really nice (not that 你 aren't already).

Argue with them. Tell them how going goth isn't going to change your 爱情 for God and Jesus, and that it is just a lifestyle that a lot of good people do just because it made them feel unique.

Then, after the talk, do the walk. Whether 或者 not they approved of your style, go goth and 显示 them that 你 haven't and will never let antything as trivial as a 哥特式 style ruin your relatioship with God. Go to church in goth, pray morning, noon, and night in goth, read the Bible in goth, and eat and sleep in goth. That'll 显示 'em! ;-)

yeah my parents are overprotective too, i have no fb..well anyway i think 你 should be true to yourself and tell your parents no matter how crazy they think 你 are. 你 have to let them know that, that is who i am and what i love. They have to understand that and be supportive to you, rather than making fun of you. Be true to yourself no matter what ANYONE thinks. Hope this helps!

I think that's really great. I want to be the same thing, so I understand what 你 mean. Also, if your parents are "ashamed" of you, they obviously do not support you. They should be able to support 你 in anything. (except for like being a rapist 或者 something...). So just tell the truth to your parents, and remember, God will be with you.
