Someone who can take charge, but not to the point where he's controlling my life.

Hah. It's funny how almost every single girl wants the same sort of guy. And it's even funnier how they never seem to find that sort of guy. And although I'm a guy, I'm gonna answer this 问题 as though it was towards a girl.
