There are loads of different signs and it depends on the guy:
The first one usually applies to the "popular" ones, the "neds", the "jocks", the typical "bad boys", 你 know, those kind of people.
1)Believe it 或者 not, SOME guys 显示 that they like a girl 由 being mean to her. But I wouldn't base it JUST on this, of course. Some guys ARE just jerks.
2)They will tell 你 that they like you. Some may use the usual "I think you're hot", blah, blah, blah usual hit-on lines.
3)If they flirt with you, that's always a major sign.
4)If he does something like, gives 你 a flower, 或者 something like that 或者 chocolate, 或者 a present of anykind can be a big sign.
5)If 你 notice him staring at 你 before 你 look at him, 或者 if he smiles at you. This can be just friendly but if a guy like-likes you, he will usually smile whenever he's around 你 或者 he will get distracted thinking about 你 and then turn to look at you.
6)He could invite 你 out, maybe not on a 日期 but if it is just the two of you... 你 know it's like a step in the right direction.
7)If he compliments you. Yes, this too can be just friendly but it all depends on what he says and how he says it.
8)Obviously if he checks 你 out, too.
9)If he talks to and about 你 a lot, like asking 你 问题 about yourself. It's a mans way of 展示 he cares.
10)If he laughs a lot around you.
11)If he takes the time to be near you, like standing in queues, 或者 just trying to be near 你 in general but not in a stalkery kind of way.
Like I said, there are tons of ways and there are 更多 that I haven't mentioned.
I advise that 你 don't get carried away if a guy does any one of these signs. Some guys may be purely innocent 或者 friendly, so just be cautious.
