Has anybody ever told 你 to change who 你 are 或者 what 你 do?

I always hate it when people can't except the way 你 are. My mom wants me to be from a punk/emo girl to a pretty 粉, 粉色 girly. My brother wants me to turn into a "cool" type of preson. It's 你 你 wanna be!
Has anybody ever told 你 to change who 你 are 或者 what 你 do?

I was kinda a tomboy in like 5th grade and my mom sort of pushed me into to be a bit 更多 girlyier. But not that much. I mean i wear girl clothes now but i still don't do a lot of girly things.
