Confusion

Okay, I answered a 问题 about somebody's poem and 说 that it reminded me of last 年 when my dad's FRIEND died. I got several people saying how sad it was that my dad died. My dad is perfectly fine, in fact I was just talking to him a couple of 分钟 ago. I don't want people feeling bad for something that didn't happen to me. Plus I don't like things that make me think about what it would be like to loose a parent.

Oh no i think 你 misunderstood. I just 说 that because 你 mentioned your dads friend died. And when 你 说 dad it just reminded me of my dad. Then that other person was 展示 me sympathy.

They probably read your answer really quickly and just saw the word dad, and not friend. *shrugs* Just be glad your dad is fine.
