Kelsey's POV
England?! Just like I feared I started to hyperventilate. I was breathing really hard and fast. The tears started to fall. I couldn't believe this. I got all my hopes up for nothing. I got Allyce's hopes up for what?...nothing! How was I supposed to go to the 音乐会 now? I know, I can't. Maybe I can talk my mom into letting me go without her. Yeah that's about as likely to happen as cows being able to fly. I don't know how long I sat there with my head buried in my arms on the stirring wheel, but when I finally looked up the clock on the radio said: 12:04. I went home. How am I going to tell Allyce? It's going to crush her just like it crushed me. But I have to do it.
Allyce's POV
I 爱情 Kelsey! I can't believe she got us tickets for ONE DIRECTION! I'm flipping out right now! And she told me yesterday. I still haven't calmed down. I'm waiting now for her to call me and tell me where and when the 音乐会 is. I've been waiting all morning. She 说 she had to go get them at ten. It's 12:30 now. I'm starting to get a little anxious. What if she didn't get them? I was startled out of my thoughts when my phone started ringing. I looked at the screen and smiled.
"Kelsey! What took 你 so long? 你 had me worried sick! I thought 你 didn't get them!" I 说 when I answered.
"Well I got them," she said. She sounded depressed. Why would she be depressed when she's got two One Direction tickets?
"You don't sound too happy. What's wrong?" I asked.
There was silence for a few seconds. Then I heard her sniffle. "Allyce! I'm so sorry!" she 说 crying.
"Sorry? For what?" I asked in bewilderment.
"The concert! Its not in the US! It's in England! I'm so sorry!"
I just sat there 《冰雪奇缘》 for a while. England? That means...oh no! I felt the tears start to form.
"You think 你 can talk to your mom? Maybe talk her into letting us go 由 ourselves?" I asked hopefully.
"It's no use. 你 know she would let me."
"Well she should! We're seniors in high school! We're legal adults! We should be able to do whatever we want! We-" I stopped. I had an idea. "Just...ask your mom again ok? And call me and tell me what she says. I gotta go. I'll talk to 你 later," I said. Without waiting for her to answer I hung up. This is going to be the stupidest thing we've ever done.
Kelsey's POV
I stare down at the phone in my hand. What was that about? She knows my mom will say no. Why did she tell me to ask again? I just shrugged and went downstairs. I went to the stereo and put in my One Direction CD. Time to be relieved from my sadness.
由 the time the first song was half way through, I fell to my knees crying again. If I would be able to go to the concert, this is what I would be doing. Dancing around all crazy while the boys were 唱歌 on the stage. I just laid on the ground and eventually fell asleep.
When I woke up I was in my bed. I rolled over and looked out the window. I jump right out of bed. It was dark! WTF? I heard my mom's voice from downstairs. Oh it must have been her that carried me up here. I ran downstairs but I stopped when I reached the last step. I just remembered the tickets. I knew she would say no. Maybe I could just not ask her but tell Allyce that I did. I put on my best fake happy face and walked in the kitchen. Mom looked up at me and smiled.
"Did 你 get the tickets 你 were so excited about?"
The fake smile fell from my face. I just sighed and sat down at the table.
"Yeah I got them. But I figured out I can't go."
"Well why not?"
"Its in England."
She just looked at me apologetically. She truly looked sorry. She walked over to me and hugged me.
"I'm so sorry honey. I wish I could take you," she said.
"You know...Allyce and I are 18. We could go 由 ourselves," I 说 slowly.
She quickly jerked away from me. "Absolutely not."
"But mom-" I started.
"No buts. That's my final answer. No 更多 asking. I'm sorry." she walked out. I sighed. I walked upstairs to call an tell Allyce.
Allyce's POV
"Ok so what did she say?" I asked.
"You know what she said," Kelsey told me.
"Well it'll be ok. It's not the end if the world."
"I know but I really want to go."
I bit my lip. "I know. I do too. But we can just forget about it. But whatever 你 do don't throw the tickets away."
"Why-"
I cut her off. "Just trust me. Don't throw them away," I 说 smiling.
"Okay," she sounded uncertain.
"You just stop worrying and get some sleep. I think you'll need it." and with that said, I hung up.
Later that night, 或者 rather the 下一个 morning, at around 3am, I snuck out of my window and ran to Kelsey's house. Lucky for me there is a 树 right outside her window. I climbed up the 树 and quietly opened her window. I climbed inside her room and walked over to her bed. I sat on the edge of her 床, 床上 and started to gently shake her awake. She stirred but didn't wake up. I shook her 更多 forcefully. She bolted upright. She looked around. She didn't see me at first but after a while she turned and saw me. She fell out of bed.
"What the hell are 你 doing here?" she whisper screamed.
"I came to get you," I answered simply.
"Uh...why?" she asked shaking her head.
"When is the One Direction concert?" I asked ignoring her question.
"Tomorrow but-"
"Ok then let's go," I interrupted her and walking over to the window.
"Where are we going?" she asked following me.
I looked at her over my shoulder. "We've got a plane to catch."
