Nine Muses\' Hyuna reveals the consequences of wearing heels too much

On the February 4 installment of KBS 2TV\'s \'Vitamin,\' Nine Muses\' Hyuna talked about the adverse effects that wearing heels for a prolong period of time had on her body. 

MC Lee Hwi Jae asked Hyuna and Minha, "You guys dance in high heels?" Hyuna responded, "I\'ve been wearing heels for ten years, ever since my modeling days. The fourth toe on my left foot became completely deformed. My left pelvis has also taken a toll; it makes a creaking noise and feels like it\'s falling out."

A rehabilitation medical treatment specialist told her, "If you walk around in heels, they don\'t absorb shock. The shock could go straight up to your knees and waist. There are research results that state when you wear high heels, your gait could become similar to that of an arthritis patient." 

It looks like the Nine Muses girls may have to consider dancing in sneakers from now on for the sake of their toes and pelvis.

Omg, poor my goddess... Moon baby, you need to take care of yourself, maybe that\'s why you haven\'t been wear heels for the recent comebacks. It\'s okay tho because you\'re already tall, heels do make you look better but it\'s not necessary :( Imagine all the suffers and you haven\'t have a first win with 9MUSES breaks my heart :(

Dancing itself is traumatic to the body.  Ballerinas have jacked up feet.

I feel like a lot of girls groups can switch up the shoe style once in awhile. If they need to be tlak wear and show that has some height. Wedges taller sneakers. that way the shoes absorb some of the shock when they are dancing. I hope to see thicker more stable shoes in kpop so they don\'t have to go through this

They wore sneakers during Hurt Locker promos...it was nice.

They are really tall. They could get away with much shorter heels or shoes like what TWICE wears. Also if they can make automatic shotguns with no kick like the AA-12 they should be able to make high heels that absorb shock.
