OMG.....YES!! I was like.....NEVER!! Cause its just not the Tony we know. How many times in 8 seasons has Tony said "I want to settle down and get married"? Not once, maybe being screwed over by his partner hurt him more than he has said, he obviously gave a LOT up after that betrayal! Then he finds out his old boss betrayed him too, he has more in common now with Ziva than he thinks!!

Part of me is so glad that he was engaged! It shows that is capable of commitment, we just haven't seen that side of him other than Jeanne. I really wasn't expecting him to have been ENGAGED in the past though.

Although.... part of me does think it would have been a bit odd if he had not had at least one person that he was REALLY serious with.

Extremely surprised. I'm curious to know what happened to Wendy, and the engagement. Is that part of the reason he has been unable to be serious with women b/c he was hurt in the past by her (& his partner)?

I was completely shocked by that. I had to watch the scene a second time just to make sure that I heard it correctly. I want to know what exactly happened, too. Maybe they'll bring it up again in a future episode.
