Lorde Is Heading To ‘SNL’ For The Very First Time…With Some Very Special Guests

Disclosure are heading to “Saturday Night Live” next month, and they’ve decided to bring along some friends.

Who, you might be wondering? Just a couple of old pals named Sam Smith and Lorde.

Disclosure revealed the big news in a response to the night’s host, Elizabeth Banks, who asked all her fans via Twitter if they were “ready” for them to take over the late night stage on November 14.

It’s hard to believe, but this marks Lorde’s first time performing on “SNL,” along with Disclosure, while Sam Smith has taken the stage once before back in 2014.

Lorde and Sam both teamed up for collaborations with the EDM brothers -— Guy and Howard Lawrence — on their most recent album,

with the “Royals” singer making her first foray into the electronic dance world via the single “Magnets.”

Sam, who has a long history with Disclosure with “Latch” and the recent James Bond theme song, “Writing’s On The Wall,” was featured on the EDM producers’ lead single from the album
