iKON to kick off an epic debut with a large-scale showcase concert at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena!

Nearly as exciting as the announcement of their debut schedule is the announcement of iKON\'s debut showcase/concert!

YG Entertainment revealed that following their debut half-album release, iKON will hold their first concert \'Showtime\' at Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Arena! The concert also serves as their debut showcase, and will take place on October 3 at 6pm KST, and tickets go on sale on September 16 through Interpark.

What is actually mind-blowing about this is that only the most established idol groups go on to hold concerts at this large venue, which can fit 15,000 people. So for a rookie group, who hasn\'t even debuted yet, to be holding their debut showcase at this venue is pretty astounding!

I don\'t know why IC whinning about ikon. Isn\'t Team A was famous than Team B? Ikon is not a rookie group, they\'re promoting for three years in all the way. They just release stuff. YG is good on taking money without creating solid things. You should applause them; they share this hype with u too

im sooo excited for their comeback and im just going to ignore all the negative things people are saying. im a YGstan and i just dont see the point of trying to bring down a fellow YG fam member/group. 

I agree with you! Masta Wu said it himself. The structure of YG\'s management is so familial and tight that they are so comfortable with each other. However at the same, there is a fierce competition among themselves because the house is just filled with way too many talented and creative artists such that if you become complacent for a second, you fall behind indefinitely. This is healthy competition and let\'s just be positive about it! :D

Winner fan including me how about we let ikon enjoy the moment and stop this whining? Winner is doing a tour in japan so let\'s just support them and when the time comes they will comeback so stop it!

sigh...As an IC I am so pissed to see all the IC whining on YG not promoting WINNER well and give more attention to iKON. How do you explain WINNER has WINNER TV before debut and all the clothes they have for the debut. do you know how expensive is it?

Also. WINNER get their relatively lengthy spotlight during WIN when 3 members of iKON have it in 1 clip.

Stop complaining and enjoy the release already. How do you know if WINNER\'s comeback  won\'t be in the same level as how YG promote BB and iKON. It\'s just a different way of promotion. WINNER had a 1 month teaser with all the expensive clothes and stuff. and the teaser videos. 

ON POINT! I mean, if Winner\'s promotion period wasn\'t all that successful, YG\'s stocks wouldn\'t have increased by, I think, 7 or 9% after their debut. Winner and Ikon are two different groups; it is just right to handle them differently.

Damn! I do believe that they\'re more than ready to have their own concert. Hell, they probably have more concert stage experience than some older idol groups out there (read: the perks of having superstar sunbaes). Don\'t hate on them too much, it\'s taken them a long time to even debut and they do have the talent and skills to make it big.

Tbh I care more abt what Ikon is feeling right now, man its an arena they have to fill in and its just their debut. Such expectations and pressure. Ikon stay strong! Its the moment we\'ve been waiting for. Korean ikonstans please support!! please fill the arena. Thankss
