Pimpin' My 文章 ~ A Booth/Brennan House/Cuddy Comparison
I have written an 文章 in the Booth/Brennan ('Bones') spot that compares the Booth/Brennan relationship to the House/Cuddy relationship.

I wanted to share this here for open-minded Huddy fans to read my views about Huddy compared to another relationship. PLEASE DO NOT BASH MY OPINION. I am very open to debate, but NOT open to anyone who just wants to tell me I'm wrong. Opinions are not facts.
Please read with an open mind, especially if you are a 'Bones' and Booth/Brennan fan.
But in terms of chemistry and sexual tension, I think Huddy is more interesting than BB, because it's an unconventional and complicated relationship. Bones and Booth talk about their relationship all the time, their relationship moving in a more typical way so it's easier put them together without the show will suffer.
I think this happens because of two reasons:
1º) the temperament of the characters. House MD focuses in the inability of House to open his heart. A relationship with Cuddy could go against the coherence of the central character. On the other hand, BB face of reason and instinct but, a relationship between Bones and Booth wouldn't be inconsistent with the drama.
2º)BB are co-wokers, they are at the same level, but House and Cuddy have a relationship employee-employer so, the writers have a power play between them, which makes more difficult to close them without the show being affected.
¿conclusion?
both can develop a love story, but in a totally different way.
So, by this rationale, all that needs to happen in order for House and Cuddy to "earn" the right to be together is for House to express his feelings for Cuddy?
Maybe the flip side was intrinsic to your statement, but I feel that the door swings both ways in this situation. While I will certainly concede that House hasn't expressed his feelings to Cuddy, Cuddy hasn't really done it either. Everyone just points the finger at House because he is a closed-off, misanthropic bastard. Cuddy is equally guilty in this situation.
It's a struggle of dominance. House and Cuddy are locked in a battle over dominance and neither one are willing to admit their feelings. Their unwilling to make said admission because doing so would make them vulnerable and subject to their own human emotions, which makes them appear weak. In such a neck-and-neck battle, neither can afford to appear this way as it sways dominance in favor of the other.
I fear that House/Cuddy are hard-headed enough that this battle will rage on forever...
