So, once there was this girl - well, actually that girl still is - but anyway, this girl who we'll call Emma, for the purposes of now. (Well, actually, we'll call her that because it's her name. But 你 get the point.)

Around two, two and a half years ago, when Emma was in sixth grade, one of her 老友记 - let's call her K, if she must have a name - was 阅读 a book that looked rather interesting. It was black, with a shiny hard cover, and had an 苹果 on the front. It was called Houkutus, which translates to Temptation. Emma liked the name and thought it might prove an interesting read, but she never did remember to check out the book at the library.

About a 年 after that, what I like to call 'The Twilight Brainwashing' really kicked into gear. This was late 2OO8, and the movie release was just underfoot. Emma hadn't really heard about it, that much, but her 老友记 were all going on about how Twilight was the best 爱情 story they'd ever read. But Emma didn't really like the idea of vampires, so she kept raiding the 图书馆 for other 图书 instead.

However, all the way until the 圣诞节 holidays, Emma just kept on hearing 更多 and 更多 about Twilight, until one 日 when she was eating out with her family in 'celebration' of the spring term starting, she remembered the almost infamous book. So, seeing as they were in a mall, she asked her parents if they could make one tiny little detour... and they agreed. So she went 首页 with the Twilight book.

She read it all that same evening, and loved it. If 你 had asked her, she could not have explained why she loved it... it just 'spoke' to her. The 下一个 日 after school, she ran around all the bookshops in Helsinki, trying to find New Moon, but it seemed like she wasn't the only one who had fallen into the Twilight craze around the time the movie was released, since she couldn't find them anywhere. Finally, one of her 老友记 (We'll call her R) loaned it to her, and she went 首页 to read the entire 6OO pages in one night.

Once again, she loved it... and cried when Eddykinz left. The 下一个 day, R loaned her Eclipse, and the same pattern as with New Moon was repeated.

However, R did not have Breaking Dawn. Neither did the bookshops, since it had newly been released. So, Emma ordered it off the internet. The 日 it finally arrived, she was so engrossed in 阅读 it she accidentally burned dinner. Her mother wasn't too pleased...

So, half a 年 passed. When asked about her favourite books, she's reply with 'Harry Potter and Twilight'... yeah, she was one of those people. She went to see the movie, and thought it pretty much sucked. She kept seeing people complain about the lack of plot and terrible quality of writing, but she didn't contest them - they were, she thought, entitled to their own (wrong) opinion.

Until one fateful day, the summer between seventh and eighth grade, Emma decided to start re-reading the series. She kept noticing the lack of plot and terrible quality of 写作 people had been talking about, 更多 and 更多 until Breaking Dawn seemed to be nothing but. That was the 日 she removed 'The Twilight Saga' from her favourite 图书 on her 脸谱 page, and hid the 图书 in her cupboard. Since that day, she has been telling people to stop 阅读 Twilight and to please read some actual literature instead.

Then one 日 near the end of eight grade, Emma finally found her missing copy of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and started re-reading the series in celebration. Since that happy, happy day, she has been a full-on Potthead.

Finally, one 日 in June, she was Googling '1OO Reasons Why Twilight Is Better Than Harry Potter', simply for the lulz - the reasons are, 你 must admit, stupid. Instead, however, she came upon a website called Fanpop, 更多 specifically the spot called Harry Potter vs. Twilight, and even 更多 specifically the 论坛 '1OOO reasons why harry potter is better than twilight'. It had around 1OO pages at that time, and she started 阅读 them, interested. However, she only got to page 2O before she got so impatient she simply made an account and joined in... and the rest, as they say, is history.
Hello everyone!

I'm planning on 写作 a letter to Stephenie Meyer regarding the Twilight series. I wanted to address all the points many people do not like in the series. The letter is going to be friendly and straight-forward. I wanted to hear what everyone would want me to include. These are a few of the topics I am going to be including:

- Anti-feminism
- Abusive relationship
- Unhealthy obsession
- Lust does not equal 爱情
- Bella is horribly rude to her 老友记 (not valued friendships)

These are just a few. Please add anything and if there is something specific you'd like me to add.

I'll be working on this letter and posting on Sunday on Fanpop, so I can add anything else and have your approval and then I will send it to her.
I understand that Seth probably won't let it get to her, but it's worth a shot and I will post his reply (assuming he does reply.)

Thank you! :)

I wrote this a while 以前 for my English class. We had to write about something we felt strongly about, and I feel very strongly about this, so...

Many people think that I would be an avid Twilight lover and a hater of the Harry Potter 图书 after their first impression. What they see may seem to point to that: I’m a fifteen 年 old girl who devours books, is a self-proclaimed hopeless romantic, loves all things vampire related, and I wear a ton of black. In reality, this couldn’t be far from the truth. It is actually the complete opposite. I absolutely despise anything Twilight related...

A/N: I just thought it would be an interesting subject, 你 know? And before 你 do anything, just to let 你 know, I FAIL at characterisation. So don't go all batshit on me if I get Hermione 或者 anyone else wrong, 'kay?

Today, on the 17th of October, the court session for the famous "Meyer Case" was initiated. Stephenie Meyer, founder of Twilight, inc., the billion-dollar advertising company, was arrested on several charges, including: allegations of fraud charged 由 worldwide companies Feminism, inc., 3D pwns 2D, and Literature n Books; the murder of various brain cells; abuse and rape of thesarus,...

Edward and bella go to a railway station during one rainy 日 in london. They meet harry and ginny there,

( bella is not changed into a vampire yet )

Edward: bella love, close your eyes please!

Bella: why edward?

(thinks to himself)

Edward : just yesterday I had promised her that she was the prettiest one I have ever seen, but here here is ginny who looks so pretty.
And bella should better stay away from harry, 或者 she will ditch me like jake..

( meanwhile harry is using legilimence when edward is busy thinking )

Harry: well, why am I going to eye a crackpot...

There once was this girl named Bri, who had a best friend (for this article, we'll call her Z). Bri and Z had identical taste in books. So, when Z gave Bri Twilight for 圣诞节 and told her how “great” it was and kept going on and on. She tried to convince Bri that it was better than Harry Potter (the book Bri had been obsessed with since she was nine) but Bri didn't believe that at all. Still, if Z liked it, then Bri knew she would like it. She had no hesitation when she cracked the binding. She was hooked.

Now, this was before Twilight grew to be psychotically massive, so when Bri came...

Before 你 start reading, I'd like to say this is my personal opinion. Maybe I'm wrong. If I am, I'd appreciate 你 don't get mad because I don't like fighting. It wasn't meant to be rude, mean 或者 hurtfull to anybody.

For me Twilight was too easy to read. I could predict what would happen and the plot was too easy. The thing is, the plot isn't bad. 吸血鬼 exist, that's cool. 你 know one, yes, very cool. But the way Stephenie Meyer introduces it, how she developed her characters, how she modeled the vampire species, that is where Twilight gets people annoyed. It represent the iceburg that...

I have researched the following and well, I am not really surprised about the results. But I still ask some questions.

Why is Twilight 更多 "popular" when HP sold 更多 than 400 million while Twilight only sold 53 million? Also, Twilight is just 45% in the 番茄 meter while HP is 83% in the 番茄 meter? Third, Twilight sold about $191,449,475 while HP sold about $283,879,025? Another is Twilight is never shown in Kid's almanacs (the World and Time yearly almanacs) while HP is seen may times over. Twilight fans, don't 你 see, HP is better even of 你 turn the world upside down 或者 inside out!...

Harry Potter vs. Twilight has always been an argument. I believe that Harry Potter is obviously the upper hand in my opinion. Both stories are both interesting and entertaining but the problem is deciding if one is better.

Harry Potter was written with an amazing storyline and many people have followed it for many years and even dress up for the premiers. In the eyes of danger Harry and his 老友记 risk their lives to save their world from falling apart. The story takes seven 图书 to tell their story. Each book is filled with adventure and a new lesson that Harry learns. 粉丝 of the series...

It was the time between the fourth and fifth Harry Potter 图书 and right after Bella leaves Jacob for Edward in the Twilight series when IT happened.
James, the evilest of the evil, had no money. He knew his antagonist part required him to have money. He needed money. There was only one thing to do....
He stepped into the swirling nothingness, and 秒 later turned up in a gloomy, slimy hallway. "Are 你 here, Lord Voldemort?"
The dark shape slid out of the shadow. "More money, James?" He 说 cooly. "We may both be the antagonists of our books, but 你 do owe me...."
"OWE 你 WHAT!?"...

There once was a young adult woman named Astrid. One 日 in Spring 2008, her good friend, Rhonda visited her. She told Astrid about this book series called Twilight, Rhonda 说 that she read the 图书 and that they were really good. Astrid then went to Borders and bought the three books. When she got home, she opened up the first book and started to read away. Astrid then decided that she liked it too. A 日 later, she read New Moon, only this time, Astrid didn't like it as much as Twilight. Wishing to continue 阅读 after the slight disliking, she read Eclipse hoping it would be better...

lets say that bella and hermione were off 老友记 (really off). Hermione is at hogwarts where she is happy and bella is at forks with her vamp buddies where she is happy. And they know each other's secrets. One day, Hermione wrote bella a letter.

Dear Bella Swan,

I have heard about your acts in Forks and how your boyfriend, edward broke up with you. I feel really sorry for you. Then 你 found him again in Volterra, Italy and 你 started going out with him again. My opinion might not matter in this but I feel as if I should tell 你 about this. I am afraid that 你 might be a little bit obssessive....
