It's more simple and watercolour, still stunning but not as impressive as the others.

I don't like Sleeping Beauty's animation. I don't care if you think it's good, I think it looks flat and long. Especially the beginning looks EXTREMELY 2D, like paper.

But I bet Snow White will lose this round, even though it has EXCELLENT animation.

Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs and Cinderella have some of the most realistic animation I've ever seen

I love Snow White and all of the other ones except for Mulan for me!!!=)

I think Sleeping Beauty has the best animation.

But when you say best animation, are you talking about in that time period or for today's description of good animation? If it's for the former, I'm switching my vote to Mulan.

I'm talking about the best animation, forget the time period. Look at the films as though they were released at the same time.

Snow White: Amazing, ESPECIALLY for its time.

Cinderella: Consistant and pretty

Sleeping Beauty: Just so angular and unique, I really do like the animation in this film. The perfect style for a fairy tale.

The Little Mermaid: The characters are amazingly well put together but over all I think the animation in this is the least impressive.

Beauty and the Beast: Pretty damn good, however really inconsistant... most notible in characters, mainly Belle.

Aladdin: Just generally really good

Pocahontas: Pretty bland but impressive all the same.

Mulan: Very 2-Dimensinal but it works perfectly with this film. Its probably the most "different" style out of all 9 films.

The Princess and the Frog: Not a huge fan of the film but when I saw it originally I thought the animation was pretty epic.

So yeah... The Little Mermaid

I like that in the Cinderella movie, they make it look like we're watching a play when it comes to the lighting.

Pocahontas and PATF have the best animation i've ever seen. it's amazing!!

Aw, Snow White is great! It has all those little details in the wood and it was very carefully drawn

I think the animation in Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella are the best.. magnificent!

But in this one.. not so much. I agree with everything Disney_Prince said (Except maybe about Aladdin)

and The Little Mermaid
