Does anyone know what is the opening narration (by Gary Sinise) to CSI:NY? When did it start?

Was watching a rerun the other 日 and Gary Sinise did a narration. Something about 'many stories in the city'. Went fast and I didn't catch it all. Got me wondering cause I thought Baba O'Riley instrumental was all I could remember.

It is very reminiscent of the old 'Naked City' TV Series of the late 50's to early 60's. At the end the narrator said: "There are eight million stories, in the Naked City. This has been one of them."
