That was the 问题 耶稣 asked the women at the well, as 你 read in John 4:7. Why would 耶稣 need man to do him a favor in the first place? Is He not the Almighty God who can do whatever He wants? So why would He need to ask a foreign women to give Him some water? Why would He ask 你 for a favor today?

你 can respond like so many others do and say 'just leave me alone, I don't need you' and he probably would. 你 look at him just like one of these annoying insurance sales men that really don't want to leave 你 alone until they got 你 to either buy something from them 或者 throw something at them.

But 耶稣 is not this kind of guy. He simply asks 你 for a favor and gives 你 an opportunity that will be for your own benefit in the end. Come on, it's no secret that the world is careless, best 老友记 disappear when they are needed the most and the ones 你 爱情 will eventually kick 你 in the teeth.

Yeah right, and now 你 try to tell me that the church is any different? Well, I wish. But to be honest, it's probably not the truth. But I believe that God himself is really different. He doesn't push, he doesn't condemn. He really loves 你 in a way that is hard to believe. Your father might have been hard with 你 and your mother was never there for you, but the 爱情 and acceptance that 你 will experience in His presence is amazing.

你 don't need to proof anything. 你 don't need to pretend to be someone that you're not. 你 don't need to be perfect. Just face the crap in your 心 and be honest with Him. Tell Him something simple like 'I know that I'm full of crap and I can't change it.'. He will still listen. 你 see, there are a lot of preachers out there that preach 火, 消防 and brimstone and how sinful 你 are and that 你 are a miserable rotten sinner. But quite honestly, 你 knew that before. That is not good news!

The good news is that 你 don't have to stay like that. 耶稣 can transform your life and make it worth living again. That's the good news! He just needs your approval. He's not a selfish sales 鲨鱼 that doesn't care for you, but he gave everything up, including his own life, to make it possible for 你 to have a better and eternal life. When was the last time 你 saw a sales man selling all his own stuff to give 你 money to buy what 你 wanted? I have never seen someone like that! But that is exactly what 耶稣 did. He gave all He had to give 你 all 你 want. That is real love! It is hardly found in people today, but it is found in Him.

When He knocks at door of your 心 and asks 你 for a favor. Instead of ignoring Him, open your 心 wide and 你 will end up having 更多 than He has requested from you.

Trust him for once and say something like: 'Jesus, I'm quite a wreck and I ask 你 to forgive my sins. Please come and pour your 爱情 into me'. What 你 will experience will be 更多 than just another moment of your life, but 你 will encounter the true power of God. 你 will feel a difference and 你 will be starting into a true adventure and into a life that is worth living.

'OK, and where is the small print?' Here it is:'Life is not just easy because of Jesus, but it is never hopeless. 你 will NOT just be a puppet of God, but a man empowered 由 God. Problems don't just disappear, but He will help 你 through and make 你 a way.
