clarklover makes a good point. However, I think the Revelations warning was against altering the word of God as a means of deception. A warning to false prophets, for example. Not to helping people understand the Word of God. Pastors and ministers do that all the time.

There are several children's Bibles already in existence that are written in simple terms and often illustrated to keep the child's interest. Take link for example. There are several more. These sorts of Biblical introductions are used in some Sunday schools in an attempt to explain some of the 更多 complicated stories, and get kids 更多 interested in learning about their religion. In short, your idea has been tried before, and often to the benefit of the church.

Be VERY CAREFUL dear. There are, and I have one, Holy Bibles written so that it is easier to read. Mine is the NIV (New International Version) Study Bible. Rev. 22:18,19 "I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away his share in the 树 of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this book."

Well I have this version of the bible that my mom got me and its specificly for girls because it has personal stories at the begining of each chapter and it even has an index where 你 can look up a topic and they send 你 to a page in the bible and 你 read someone's personal story and at the bottom they give 你 sites 你 can go to to get help if 你 need it 或者 if someone 你 know needs it. its really cool!

no it is not all right. the real Bible came from the Textus Receptus which was translated from the original Greek New Testament. all the other Bibles are crap because they are changing the actual words of God and that is not good. the real Bible is the King James Version and thats that. do not believe 或者 read the other versions because they are junk. i am helping 你 out 由 telling 你 to stay away from those false prophets. please stay away.

What I would do is be careful not to change the meaning 或者 add names that aren't originately in there. If people around 你 think it's boring share with them something in real life perspective. For example, I think God has 给 me the ability to draw extraordinary things. I used that gift to tell many stories with pictures. One story in particularis the story of Jacob and Esau. The picture shows stacks of money, a castle, a crown, and a golden staff 下一个 to one man who's giving it up for a football. This is because he is bored. The point was he was willing to trade something so large to satisfy his boredom. Do not change the meaning.
