I must confess, I am not a Christian. Nevertheless, it is my sincere belief that most Christians, even those who cannot condone homosexuality, 熊 no ill will towards gays and lesbians, and any who do have been blinded 由 prejudice and have 迷失 the light of Christ.

Regardless of one's opinion on the issues, these are people. They are not disgusting 或者 evil 或者 second-class citizens, they are human beings, and being gay is just a part of who they are, but not all of who they are. The 问题 was not asking about your moral stance on the issue of homosexuality, it was asking if 你 hated them. The answer of the kind of Christians I admire would be, "Regardless of how I feel about homosexuality, I do not hate gay people." Period.

Also, be careful how 你 phrase your opinions. I know several people who irritatingly says, "I don't hate Christians, but I find their beliefs disgusting and naive." Wouldn't that offend you? It's called a veiled insult. 你 may not hate them, but calling them "creepy," "gross" 或者 even "wrong" can come off as very hurtful to others 阅读 your comments. Just think about that when 你 share your opinions.

I believe homosexuality is a sin. I do not hate them. I have coworkers and aquaintances who happen to live a gay life style. We just agree to disagree. As far as gay rights, I am against gay marriage just because of the defintion of marriage. However, I believe that they deserve the same rights and protection under the law.
To add, I would be against an unmarried hetrosexual couple enjoying the same rights/privliges as a married couple. This may sound old fashoined, but sex outside of marriage is still considered sin. Just as I can 爱情 and respect such a couple, so can I 爱情 those involved in other sin.
While I do not approve of the lifestyle, I think homosexuals are stereotyped because of a small group evil people who happen to be gay. "Those who break the law should be punished the same as a straight person." People are individuals, and should be treated as such.
I share the truth in love. It is thier choice to accept 或者 reject. Scripture tells us that Christians who do not 爱情 will have to give an account at the judgment. Just as we all will be judge for every thought 或者 action. Christians are also people deserving of judgement. It is only 由 the love, grace and mercy of God that Christ took our punishment on the cross. It is the 交叉, 十字架 that makes possible forgiveness.

Certain things in the Bible is obsolete. Like playing with a pigskin was wrong and women had no rights then as well. First of all, as for my feelings towards them - to answer your question, yes. Some of the worst intolerance I've experienced has been from homosexuals 或者 those who support it. Teaching children as young as 5 that they might not be the gender they think they are...now that is messed up. No other demographic has done that. If they can close down entire streets just to have their very own pride parades, displaying nude obscene acts where the public and children can see, attacking those who peacefully protest, then they don't have it as bad as they like to say they do. Simply put - the pro-gay movement is not about tolerance at all, the way it attacks democratic rights and freedoms so often.
If 你 were to research one of the contributors of the gay movement - John Money (deranged pedophile, "sexologist") - 你 would see that that movement has a very disturbing background.

Now, God would forgive a gay person if they repented and truly aimed to change their ways - there are examples I've read about of ex-gay people. well, this is what i know from what i discuss at length at my youth retreat. it does have to do with religion. it says in the bible how 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 - "Do 你 not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? But 你 were washed, 你 were sanctified, 你 were justified in the name of the Lord 耶稣 Christ and 由 the Spirit of our God." so the subject of the matter 由 itself it not very clear.. another verse that says "Leviticus 20:13 - "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."
therefore, depending on which version of the bible 你 use 或者 your denomination and how 你 interpret it it could go many ways. my feeling is that i dont particularly think that homosexuality is right nor do i think it is wrong. i dont have much of a stance on this matter but one this is clear to me, i do not believe that just because someone is of that nature should be persecuted because of such.. 你 are right on the point that though god does not in particular like this way of life, he still loves his children and he does not wish for 你 to hate those who have sinned.

I had a best friend who was gay and it difficult dealing with her since I strong Christian conviction on it. Is it agianst the bible, yes. Did I hate her, no. "Hate" -as a Christain "hate" goes against the very core foundation of any Christianity. There is supposed to be 爱情 and acceptance for all human beings.

Those verses pretty much clear up how God feels about homosexuals. But They will get their punishment in the afterlife, It doesn't mean we should persecute them now.

I have a close family member who's homosexual. I never hated him for it. He knows where I stand and we have 老友记 like that. They come over and I treat them like everyone else (I live with him). I used to hang out with gays & lesbians. One word describes them. Immature! Reminded me of Middle School days. I don't hate gay and lesbian people because I am a Christian. I 爱情 God and follow Him. I was bisexual since I was very little till 耶稣 saved me at age 14 and I gave my life to Him. I know all that God says is true. One of my 老友记 is bisexual. She has a Mom and a Grandmother who follow Christ. She agrees with the Bible minus Leviticus 18:22 and 1 Corinthians 6:9 (and whatever other Scriptures that talk about homosexuality). I'm not mean to her and I don't tell her the Scriptures every day. If she knows it's wrong to be comfortable in what she's doing and what I was doing,and doesn't wanna change,that's her descision. I won't tell her it's OK. I won't hate her. God doesn't force Himself upon people. He gives His word. ALL we must do is believe and trust Him and we're headed the right way <3
