I'm going to say it straight-I hate her. A lot. For multiple reasons.
But I'm not going to get into everything I hate about her. But I think she's doing an awful thing 由 using 基督教 as an excuse to put artists that are 更多 successful than her down. It's just wrong.
Also, she's giving Christians a very bad name 由 what she's doing. She's not trying to fight for us-no, she's just being jealous.
Also, she was supposedly raised as a good little Christian girl. So why was her first single "I Kissed A Girl". Naughty, for a pastor's daughter. If she wants to pretend to be such a good little Christian, she's going to have to act the part, which means no 接吻 girls, dirty lyrics, 或者 being in 视频 where she's wearing practically nothing. Hyppocrite.

I"ve never heard about KAty putting down other artists. Besides, what's wrong with kidding girls? God made everyone, right, so what's so bad? And I know you're a 粉丝 of Lady Gaga, yet you're not complaining about what SHE does, like she swallowed a 交叉, 十字架 in her Alejandro video, and wears practically nothing in her videos, and has some provocative lyrics. Also, Katy has actually worm MUCH mroe in her 视频 than Gaga. This seems a bit hypocritical, if 你 ask me.
Well Judas actually wasn't bible-bashing 或者 anything, she was 唱歌 from the point of view of Mary Magdalene, and there was that line, "Jesus is my virtue, but Judas is the demon I cling to". There wasn't anything anti-Schristian in it, if that's what 你 were implying.
I worry about her. There is a video of her being on a talk 显示 where she relates her leaving Christian 音乐 to selling her soul to the devil. Now, I don't know if she meant this literally, but it's still something to consider about her.

Wow, & after watching that people still think she's a good perosn?
Well, IMO, that part actually sounded kinda sarcastic. But, still, it's not something to even joke about. Either way, I'm not a 粉丝 of her 音乐 at all. So obviously I don't care enough to look into her personal life.
@LadyL68 - Hold up. 你 don't know if she's a good person 或者 not. Why are 你 casting stones? She made one irreverent comment, but I don't think she did it to be offensive, and I also don't think she meant it literally.
Key phrase: USED to be. She stopped being a Christian because she "didn't like it" in which she wasn't actually a Christian, because faith lasts forever. Am I right?

I agree with Cinders. I'm not a Christian, but whatever happened to "Love Thy Neighbor"? And what's wrong with her style? She's quirky, and isn't like anyone else. Is that a BAD thing?
No offense, but those using the word, *hate* r the ones being the real hypocrites. Its doubtful u know Katy Perry personally, so stop assuming when u dont know. Also, spreading hate around is giving Christians a bad name too.
Personally, I like some of Katy Perry's music. I like a variety of today's pop/dance music. Does it say anywhere that I cant? No. Ur not supposed to judge a person 由 one silly comment, their looks, etc., so please stop.
I get that u dont get it. In some ways, I dont either, but I dont know her, so its up to her. Its sad that a lot of people in 显示 business throw away some of their original beliefs just to go along with famous crud, but up to them. To each their own.

Meh, I don't really like her music. Not because her 音乐 now is "un-Christian" 或者 whatever, but because my 音乐 style changed and I'm not into that specific genre of 音乐 anymore. On a sidenote, I also hate songs about sex, but that isn't the sole reason I don't listen to her... except for the song "Firework", which is catchy and I actually like the lyrics. But, 你 know, besides that.... xD
