Please...I'm trying so hard to understand. Everything 你 say has bitterness behind it. WHY are 你 lashing out at us? Have any of us hurt you? Offended you? Harassed you? Ignored you? As far as I know, none of us here is trying to "save" 你 或者 convert you. We cannot and WILL not force 你 to believe in anything, nor would we want to - because the joy of knowing God is something that every person must discover for themselves. Allow me to quote from another answer I wrote to another atheist who had questions... "I think everyone at some point has experienced that strange, indescribable longing for something more, something greater than what we know...like you're homesick for a 首页 you've never known. That longing is a very deep part of who we all are as human beings, and pretending it isn't there won't make it go away. Needs and desires exist because there are things designed to fulfill them. Where there is hunger, there is food. Where there is thirst, there is water. Where there is loneliness, there is love. The fact that I long for something beyond what I see is yet 更多 proof to me that He exists. Everyone has a God-shaped hole in their hearts, and only He can fill it." 基督教 isn't about going to church 或者 阅读 your "holy texts" 或者 following a mere set of beliefs. If 你 were ever truly a Christian to begin with, 你 would've known that. Choosing to follow 耶稣 is a very deep and personal choice that takes a lot of thought. It changes 你 from the inside out, and it's something 你 include in every aspect of your life, not just "church time". A true Christian knows that it's NEVER about "religion". It's about a relationship. It isn't a "get-out-of-hell" card; it's a "live life to the fullest" invitation. Having 说 all that, I HIGHLY recommend 你 check out some of C. S. Lewis's books, especially Mere Christianity and The Screwtape Letters. Think of Lewis as the "Richard Dawkins" of Christianity. He used to be a hard-core atheist...until God pwned him with his own logic. xD He was an expert in Christian apologetics, and I'm sure he could help answer any 问题 或者 confusion 你 have (better than I could, anyway). I'm praying for you, Lost, and I hope that someday you'll be Found again.
