I've answered this 问题 before, so I'll just paste what I put for that answer.
Sword Art Online. There's 更多 sci-fi 幻想 日本动漫 out there, it's not the single most best 日本动漫 and anyone who disagrees with 你 isn't a hater, and Kirito is NOT the best 日本动漫 swordsman. (seriously, just because 你 can kill a few 龙 in Skyrim doesn't mean 你 could stand a chance against a dragon in real life) Get over it, people. (I started watching it when it aired on Toonami but got bored of it because it seemed to just repeat itself)
And not to mention, the fanbase for this 日本动漫 is toxic as all hell. So many insane fangirls/fanboys for this 日本动漫 I've found...they make my Mephisto obsession look like an elementary school crush...Jesus Christ, man. >.>

YESSSSSS!!!!! I totally agree. In fact I found the whole plot to be kinda boring
I haven't watched Sword Art Online but from what I've read it doesn't look like a good 日本动漫 at all.Also I agree with 你 that Kirito is far from being the best 日本动漫 swordsman.I had to laugh hard when someone actually compared him to Guts from Berserk.
